Abstract

Perkembangan zaman dan teknologi yang berubah begitu cepat membuat perusahaan semakin berkompetisi. Terutama pada perusahaan start up yang memanfaatkan teknologi sebagai dasar perusahaan. Keterbatasan pengetahuan dan teknologi menjadi hambatan untuk berkembangnya perusahaan di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan strategi untuk meningkatkan inovasi perusahaan. Salah satu strategi yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan menerapkan strategi open innovation. Dengan menerapkan open innovation perusahaan dapat meningkatkan proses inovasi yang akan meningkatkan innovation performance. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat tiga variabel yang digunakan. Variabel utama yang menjadi ketertarikan peneliti adalah innovation performance. Berikutnya, terdapat dua variabel yang turut mempengaruhi, yaitu open innovation dan absorptive capacity sebagai variabel mediasi, serta technological turbulence sebagai variabel kontrol innovation performance. Penelitian ini menggunakan Koperasi Cafe Startup Indonesia sebagai populasi dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 205. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian data yang telah dilakukan, disimpulkan bahwa keempat hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima.
