Abstract

Gawai merupakan hal yang umum digunakan untuk semua kalangan termasuk anak usia prasekolah. Di era globalisasi sekarang ini penggunaan gawai meningkat sangat pesat. Di Indonesia terdapat peningkatan 123% pecandu gawai atau sebanyak 176 juta orang dari 1,4 miliar pengguna gawai dan terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Kebiasaan bermain gawai pada anak merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat memengaruhi perkembangan sosial dan emosional anak. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan durasi penggunaan gawai terhadap sosial emosional anak usia prasekolah di dua TK di Kabupaten Tangerang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional serta pendekatan cross sectional dan yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 92 orang tua yang memiliki anak usia prasekolah di TK Islam Cemerlang dan TK Little Koala Montessori. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Uji statistik dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji Chi Square. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu durasi penggunaan gawai anak usia prasekolah di dua TK di Kabupaten Tangerang adalah kategori berlebih yaitu >3 jam per hari di luar waktu yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran online dan pekembangan sosial emosional anak usia prasekolah di dua TK di Kabupaten Tangerang yaitu kategori cukup. Terdapat hubungan antara durasi penggunaan gawai terhadap sosial emosional anak usia prasekolah di dua TK di Kabupaten Tangerang, P-value (0,000) < α (0,05). "/" Gadgets are things that are commonly used by all groups, including preschoolers. In the current era of globalization, the use of gadgets is increasing very rapidly. In Indonesia, there is an increase of 123% of gadget addicts or as many as 176 million people from 1.4 billion gadget users and this continues to increase every year. The habit of playing with gadgets in children is one of the factors that can affect the social and emotional development of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the duration of the use of gadgets on the socio-emotional behavior of preschool-aged children in two kindergartens in Tangerang Regency. This research is quantitative research with a correlational research type and a cross-sectional approach and the respondents in this study were 92 parents who had preschool children in Cemerlang Islamic Kindergarten and Little Koala Montessori Kindergarten. The data collection method used a questionnaire and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The statistical test in this study used the Chi-Square test. The results of this study are that the duration of the use of gadgets by preschool-aged children in two kindergartens in Tangerang Regency is an excess category, namely >3 hours per day outside the time used for online learning and the social-emotional development of preschool-aged children in two kindergartens in Tangerang Regency, namely the sufficient category. There is a relationship between the duration of the use of gadgets on the socio-emotional behavior of preschool-aged children in two kindergartens in Tangerang Regency, P-value (0.000) < (0.05).
