Abstract

Pembelajaran bermakna tercapai ketika siswa mampu mengkorelasikan antara pembelajaran yang diperoleh di dalam kelas dengan kehidupan nyata. Sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan Kristen yang mengharapkan siswa dapat terlibat aktif dalam pemulihan yang bersifat menebus segala sesuatu di dalam Dia melalui kontribusinya di dalam menemukan sebuah solusi permasalahan sebagai bukti nyata bahwa siswa mengalami pembelajaran yang bermakna. Tujuan penulisan makalah ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah berdampak pada pengalaman belajar siswa untuk mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode berbasis masalah dapat mengupayakan pembelajaran bermakna dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: a) mengorientasi siswa pada masalah; b) mengorganisasikan siswa untuk belajar; c) membimbing siswa dalam proses pemecahan masalah baik secara individu maupun kelompok; d) siswa mampu mengembangkan dan menyajikan hasil karyanya; e) guru bersama dengan siswa mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah. Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan contoh masalah yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa mampu mengalami pembelajaran bermakna melalui keterlibatannya bahkan menemukan Allah melalui ciptaan-Nya dari penemuan solusi sebuah masalah./Meaningful learning is achieved when students are able to correlate the learning gained in the classroom with real life. In line with the goal of Christian education which expects students to be actively involved in a recovery that redeems everything in Him through his contribution in finding a solution to a problem as concrete evidence that students experience meaningful learning. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how problem-based learning methods impact the student's learning experience to strive for meaningful learning. The research method using descriptive qualitative research methods. The results showed that: 1) the use of problem-based methods to strive for meaningful learning shows that students are able to experience meaningful learning and are able to remember it in the long term; 2) the steps for using problem-based learning methods to seek meaningful learning are carried out with the following steps: a) orienting students to the problem; b) organizing students to study; c) guiding the process of solving individual and group problems; d) students develop and present their work; e) evaluate the problem-solving process. For subsequent researchers, it is hoped that they can use problem-based learning methods by using examples of problems that are close to student life in the learning process so that students are able to experience meaningful learning through their involvement and even find God through His creation from finding solutions to a problem.
