Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki pada abad 21 selaras dengan pentingnya literasi sains. Kedua kemampuan tersebut saling berhubungan, karena proses berpikir kritis dapat diperoleh melalui penerapan literasi Sains di dalam pembelajaran termasuk pada pelajaran Fisika. Akan tetapi berdasarkan empat indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis yang dipakai dalam mengidentifikasi masalah pada penugasan yang pertama diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa perlu didukung melalui peran guru. Sebagai fasilitator, guru berperan dalam membuat dan menggunakan penilaian berbasis literasi Sains yang dikaji dapat mendukung kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari penggunaan penilaian berbasis literasi Sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal tersebut telah sesuai sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Kristen yaitu mengembangkan potensi diri termasuk berpikir kritis sebagai bentuk memuliakan Allah yang merupakan sumber kebenaran. Penggunaan penilaian berbasis literasi Sains pada kelas 10 IPA 1 dan 2 terbukti dapat mendukung kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis berdasarkan indikator interpretation, analysis, evaluation, dan inference. Dalam memperoleh data yang lebih akurat, peneliti selanjutnya disarankan dapat membuat soal dengan indikator explanation dan self-regulation, menerapkan latihan soal secara mandiri, serta memberikan umpan balik. / Critical thinking is one of the skills that must be possessed in the 21st-century. The two abilities are interconnected, because critical thinking processes can be obtained through the application of scientific literacy in learning, including in Physics lessons. However, based on the four indicators of critical thinking skills used in identifying problems in the first assignment, it is known that students' critical thinking skills need to be supported through the role of the teacher. As a facilitator, the teacher plays a role in making and using the Science literacy-based assessment that is studied to support students' critical thinking skills. This research method is descriptive qualitative. This study aims to analyze the effect of using Science literacy-based assessment on students' critical thinking skills. This is in accordance with the goal of Christian education, namely developing self-potential including critical thinking as a form of glorifying God who is the source of truth. The use of science literacy-based assessment in grade 10 Science 1 and 2 is proven to be able to support students' ability to think critically based on indicators of interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and inference. In obtaining more accurate data, further researchers are advised to be able to make questions with explanation and self-regulation indicators, apply practice questions independently, and provide feedback.
