Abstract

Perubahan kegiatan pembelajaran selama pandemik seharusnya hanya berdampak pada aktivitas yang berubah. Esensi dalam pembelajaran tetap sama, yaitu guru menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, dan siswa terlibat di dalamnya. Namun pada kenyataannya, selama observasi di kelas XI IPS salah satu sekolah Kristen di Jakarta Barat periode Juli-Agustus 2022. Ditemukan kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Melihat permasalahan ini, guru mengupayakan keterlibatan siswa melalui strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk mengupayakan keterlibatan perilaku siswa pada pelajaran Geografi kelas XI IPS. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa guru mampu mengupayakan keterlibatan perilaku siswa, melalui penggunaan strategi pembelajaran yang menyenangkan pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas XI IPS meskipun dilakukan secara hybrid. Setelah jatuh dalam dosa, manusia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari cenderung berperilaku tidak sesuai kehendak Allah. Hal ini juga terlihat dari perilaku siswa yang menyimpang dan tidak terlibat dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu merancang suatu strategi pembelajaran yang dapat mengupayakan keterlibatan siswa. Tujuannya, agar siswa mengalami perubahan perilaku yang semakin serupa dengan Kristus melalui proses pembelajaran. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya, variabel masalah dapat dikembangkan dengan meneliti komponen keterlibatan emosional melalui perasaan dan minat siswa, serta kognitif berdasarkan hasil belajar siswa. / Changes in learning activities during the pandemic should only have an impact on changes in activities. The essence of learning remains the same, namely the teacher delivers learning materials, and students are engaged inside it. But in reality, observations in grade XI social studies at a Christian school in West Jakarta for the period July-August 2022 found a lack of student engagement in the learning process. Seeing these problems, the teacher seeks student engagement through joyful learning strategies. The purpose of this study was to analyze the use of fun learning strategies to find student engagement behavior in class XI Social Sciences students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study found that teachers were able to seek student engagement behavior, through the use of Joyful learning strategies in social science Geography subjects for class XI even though it was carried out in a hybrid learning. After falling into sin, humans in daily life tend to behave in a way that is not in accordance with God's will. This can also be seen from the behavior of students who deviate and are not engaged in learning. Therefore, teachers need to design learning strategies that can seek student engagement. The goal is that students experience changes in behavior that are more like Christ through the learning process. Suggestions for further research, problem variables can be developed by testing the components of emotional involvement through students' feelings and interests, as well as cognitive based on student learning outcomes.
