Abstract

Siswa-siswi seharusnya memiliki sikap hormat kepada guru, teman dan aturan yang berlaku dalam pembelajaran. Umpan balik, refleksi, observasi dan kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa siswa-siswi kelas X MIPA kurang memiliki sikap hormat. Hal ini berdampak negatif pada kondisi kelas dan pembelajaran. Token ekonomi digunakan sebagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan sikap hormat dan mengetahui langkah-langkah yang diterapkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas menurut Pelton yang dilakukan dari 16 Juli 2018 – 2 November 2018 di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Ambon. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 24 orang siswa-siswi kelas X MIPA yang terdiri dari 14 orang laki-laki dan 10 orang perempuan. Hasilnya adalah token ekonomi dapat meningkatkan sikap hormat siswa-siswi kelas X MIPA dalam pelajaran biologi. Dalam tiga kali penerapan tindakan, nilai sikap hormat siswa-siswi setiap indikator berada pada kategori A (sangat baik) dan B (baik). Siswa-siswi juga melakukan tindakan-tindakan yang menunjukkan sikap hormat sehingga menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih baik. Langkah-langkahnya yaitu 1) Persiapan: mengidentifikasi tingkah laku yang ditargetkan, memilih token yang akan digunakan, memilih reinforces, memilih nilai tukar token, menetapkan harga reinforcement, membuat bank penyimpanan, menetapkan waktu penukaran; 2) Pelaksanaan: menjelaskan aturan, prosedur, dan sistem token ekonomi serta pemberian stiker sesegera mungkin; dan 3) Evaluasi: siswa-siswi mengevaluasi diri sendiri dan guru mengevaluasi penerapan token ekonomi./ Student should have respect to their teachers, friends and regulation in the classroom. The feedback, reflection, observation, and questionnaires revealed that the students of class X MIPA less respect. This condition gave negative effect toward the classroom condition. The token economy was used as effort to overcome the problems, so this research’s goal was to develop the students’ respect and to identify the applied procedures. This research used Classroom Action Research according to Pelton which was conducted from July 16th, 2018 until November 2nd, 2018 in one of Christian Schools in Ambon. The subject was 24 students of X MIPA, consisted of 14 males and 10 females. The result is the token economy can improve the students’ respect in biology subject. Through three times of actions, the students’ value of respect in each indicator was in the category A (very good) and category B (good). Students also take actions that show respect, so create a better condition of the classroom. The procedures were: 1) Preparation: identifying the target attitude, selecting the token, selecting reinforces, selecting the price of token, stating the price reinforcement, creating bank storage and stating the exchange time. 2) Action: explaining the rules of token economy, the procedure of token economy and system, then giving sticker as soon as possible; and 3) Evaluation: the student evaluated themselves and the teacher evaluated the implementation of the token economy
