Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat mengimplikasikan bahwa brand pada masa kini penting untuk melakukan marketing melalui sosial media. Brand-brand mewah diproyeksi akan didominasi oleh pelanggan dari generasi yang merupakan kelompok digital narative sehingga perlu diadakan telaah mengenai pengaruh antara Social Media Marketing Activities terhadap Brand Equity. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh Social Media Marketing Activities terhadap Consumer-based Brand equity dengan mediasi Brand Experience dan Social Media Benefit pada brand fesyen mewah (Louis Vuitton). Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu pemilik produk fesyen mewah (Louis Vuitton) yang mengikuti akun instagram brand tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuisioner elektronik Google Form. Terdapat 240 responden yang mengisi dengan valid. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah PLS-SEM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Social Media Marketing Activities berpengaruh terhadap Consumer-based Brand Equity baik secara langsung dan dimediasi oleh Brand Experience. Social Media Benefits tidak memediasi hubungan antara Social Media Marketing Activities dan Consumer-based Brand Equity. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi dalam menciptakan konten media sosial fesyen mewah (Louis Vuitton) sehingga dapat meningkatkan ekuitas merek.
