Abstract

Selama masa pandemi terdapat banyak pelaku usaha UMKM sektor makanan dan minuman yang mengalami permasalahan dalam kinerjanya, bahkan sebagian besar dari mereka harus menutup sementara atau permanen usahanya. Namun disisi lain, terdapat peningkatan yang drastis dalam jumlah pelaku usaha UMKM makanan dan minuman, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan para pelaku usaha UMKM sektor makanan dan minuman memutuskan untuk memulai usahanya dan kesuksesan mereka bertahan ditengah pandemi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan sampel sebesar 170 responden dengan teknik samplingnon-probability sampling dan purposive sampling, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah PLS-SEM dengan aplikasi SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari entrepreneurial self efficacy terhadap entrepreneurial entry decision, adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dari entrepreneurial competence terhadap entrepreneurial entry decision dan success of MSME startup, serta tidak adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari entrepreneurial self efficacy terhadap success of MSME startup. / During the pandemic, there were many MSME business actors in the food and beverage sector who experienced problems in their performance, even most of them had to temporarily or permanently close their businesses. But on the other hand, there has been a drastic increase in the number of food and beverage MSME business actors, therefore this study aims to analyze the influence of the factors that cause MSME business actors in the food and beverage sector to decide to start their business and their success in surviving amidst the pandemic. . This research was conducted with a sample of 170 respondents with non-probability sampling and purposive sampling techniques, the data collection technique used was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was PLS-SEM with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study are that there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial entry decisions, there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial competence on entrepreneurial entry decisions and the success of MSME startups, and there is no significant effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on success. of MSME startups.
