Abstract

Perusahaan merupakan tempat berkumpulnya banyak sekali individu atau orang di dalamnya. Individu-individu yang ada dalam suatu perusahaan disebut sebagai seorang karyawan. Para karyawan yang ada dalam sebuah perusahaan tentu akan merasa asing dengan lingkungan kerja mereka. Para karaywan baru ini pasti akan mengalami kebinggungan pada saat awal bergabung dengan suatu perusahaan. Akan tetapi pada umumnya setiap perusahaan memiliki program induksi atau program pengenalan untuk para karyawan baru. Program induksi yang dilakukan pada umumnya juga menggunakan metode komunikasi instruksional. Untuk itulah, diperlukan sebuah penelitian untuk dapat mengukur seberapa efektif komunikasi instruksional yang terjadi di dalam program induksi untuk dapat membantu para karyawan baru dalam memahami produk.Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan data primer yang berupa kuisioner dan observasi dan data sekunder berupa tanya jawab singkat dengan responden. Kuisioner akan dibagikan dan diisi oleh 30 orang karyawan baru yang telah mengikuti program induksi yang telah dilaksanakan oleh PT Bama Putra dalam periode tahun 2021 dan 2022. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa komunikasi instruksional yang terjadi dalam program induksi di PT Bama Putra dinilai efektif. Hal terserbut dikarenakan para karyawan baru merasa mendapatkan ilmu dan informasi terkait perusahaan setelah mengikuti program induksi tersebut. / The company is a gathering place for many individuals or people in it. The individuals in a company are referred to as an employee. Employees in a company will certainly feel foreign to their work environment. These new employees will definitely experience confusion when they first join a company. However, in general, every company has an induction program or introduction program for new employees. Induction programs that are carried out generally also use instructional communication methods. For this reason, research is needed to be able to measure how effective instructional communication that occurs in induction programs to help new employees understand the product. This research will use a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods. Data collection was carried out using primary data in the form of questionnaires and observations and secondary data in the form of brief questions and answers with respondents. Questionnaires will be distributed and filled in by 30 new employees who have participated in the induction program that has been implemented by PT Bama Putra in the 2021 and 2022 periods. The results of this study indicate that the instructional communication that occurs in the induction program at PT Bama Putra is considered effective. This is because new employees feel that they have gained knowledge and information related to the company after participating in the induction program.
