Abstract

There are many ways that the company does to be able to retain its employees who are the most central position in the life of the company. Production of PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan will increase if all employees are able and have an understanding of the work design that can create employee performance. The reason researchers conduct research in this company is because there are interesting things about employee performance and training as well as the work environment. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely all employees who work at PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan. Data obtained by using analysis of validity, reliability, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis. Measurements were made by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents, which were then tested for validity and reliability. After that, the distribution was carried out to 78 respondents and then an analysis was carried out. The results of this study have met the validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. Based on the hypothesis test, training and work environment have an effect on employee performance at PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan, either partially or simultaneously. Recommendations for companies are to provide training according to the ability of employees, pay attention to the work atmosphere of employees and provide guidance to employees so that employees can work better in completing tasks. / Banyak cara yang dilakukan oleh pihak perusahaan untuk dapat mempertahankan karyawannya yang merupakan posisi paling sentral dalam kehidupan perusahaannya. Produksi PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan akan meningkat apabila seluruh karyawan mampu dan mempunyai pemahaman terhadap rancangan pekerjaan yang dapat menciptakan kinerja karyawan. Alasan peneliti melakukan penelitian diperusahaan ini disebabkan karena ada hal yang menarik mengenai kinerja karyawan dan pelatihan serta lingkungan kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden yaitu seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan. Data dioleh dengan menggunakan analisis validitas, reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linear berganda. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 30 orang responden, yang kemudian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Setelah itu baru dilakukan penyebaran kepada 78 orang responden dan kemudian dilakukan analisis. Hasil penelitian ini telah memenuhi uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas dan heteroskedastisitas. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis, pelatihan dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Alam Jaya Wirasentosa Medan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Rekomendasi untuk perusahaan adalah memberikan pelatihan sesuai dengan kemampuan karyawan, memperhatikan suasana kerja karyawan dan memberikan bimbingan kepada karyawan sehingga karyawan dapat bekerja lebih baik dalam menyelesaikan tugas.
