Abstract

Disiplin belajar sangat penting untuk dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Sikap disiplin dalam belajar dapat menciptakan suasana kelas yang kondusif dan kegiatan belajar yang efektif. Namun pada kenyataannya, dari hasil observasi diperoleh 26 % siswa yang disiplin belajar. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum mampu disiplin saat belajar, ditandai dengan ketidaktaatan siswa terhadap rules and procedures, tidak bisa menjaga sikap tubuh, tidak membawa buku dan alat tulis, dan tidak memperhatikan guru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan disiplin belajar dan menguraikan tahapan peraturan dengan pemberian konsekuensi terhadap siswa kelas III A pada salah satu SD Negeri di Sentani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton dengan 5 tahapan yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan dan hasil penilaian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 kali penerapan dengan subyek penelitian yaitu siswa/siswi kelas III A yang terdiri dari 23 anak, diantaranya 10 siswa laki-laki dan 13 siswa perempuan pada salah satu SD Negeri di Sentani. Sumber data yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu lembar observasi check list, jurnal refleksi peneliti, dan umpan balik mentor. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan sumber data yang digunakan pada penerapan I sebesar 56,5 % siswa disiplin belajar dan mengalami peningkatan pada penerapan II menjadi 82,6 % siswa disiplin belajar. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan peraturan dengan pemberian konsekuensi dapat meningkatkan disiplin belajar siswa kelas III A pada salah satu SD Negeri di Sentani dengan cara rencana konsekuensi ditempel dan diberitahukan, konsekuensi diberikan sesuai kesepakatan, konsekuensi diberikan secara konsisten. / Learning discipline is very important for every students to have. Discipline in learning can create a condusive classroom athmospere and an effective learning activities. But based on observation’s result, students who has already discipline in learning just reached 26%. Thus result showes that most of students could not discipline in learning, this is marked by student’s disobedience on rules and procedures, did not have a good behavior, did not bring books and stationary and not paying attention to the teacher. This research purposes is to improve learning discipline and to explained regulation’s stages by giving consequences to students grade III A in one of public elementary sentani’s schools. The method of this research uses classroom action research with Pelton’s PTK model by five stages namely issues identification, collecting data, action planning, activation planning, and outcome assesment. This research conducted by two actions within subject of research is students grade III A which consists 23 students, 10 boys and 13 girls in one of public elementary sentani’s schools. Data sources which used by researcher is check list observation sheets, journal reflection researcher, and feedback mentor. The research result which obtained by data sources on first action is reached 56,5% students already discipline in learning and increased on second action become 82,6% students. So it can be concluded that the implementation regulations by giving consequences can improved learning discipline’s students grade III in one of public elementary sentani’s schools through the way a consequences plan sticked and sounded, consequences given according to aggrement, and consequences are given consistenly.
