Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan bagian penting dalam pembelajaran yang berguna untuk mendiagnosis kekuatan dan kelemahan pembelajaran serta mengukur kemajuan atau ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dan efektifitas penggunaan metode. Berdasarkan data lapangan, diperoleh minimnya hasil belajar siswa yang ditunjukkan melalui hasil UTS 14 dari 26 siswa tidak lulus KKM (65) dengan nilai terendah 45 dan nilai tertinggi adalah 75. Data tersebut dilengkapi juga dengan perolehan hasil nilai post test 24 siswa dari jumlah siswa keseluruhan yakni 26 siswa terdapat 12 siswa tidak lulus KKM, dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata 60, 63 dengan nilai terendah yakni 30 dan nilai tertinggi yakni 85. Oleh karena itu penelitian akan berfokus kepada hasil belajar siswa dan penerapan metode pembelajaran Numbered Heads Together. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apa dan bagaimana penerapan metode Numbered Heads Together dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) Robert P.Pelton. Rangkaian tahap penelitian dimulai dengan identifikasi masalah hingga penilaian hasil penelitian. Penelitian dimulai pada tanggal 3 September 2018 hingga 27 Oktober 2018, melibatkan 26 siswa di salah satu SMA Kristen di Tangerang. Sumber data yang digunakan meliputi RPP, umpan balik mentor, lembar observasi, refleksi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang ditunjukkan peningkatan perolehan rata-rata sebesar 5,23%, peningkatan persentase indikator pertama sebesar 7,46%, dan persentase indikator keempat sebesar 27,8%. Penerapan metode terdiri dari lima langkah, yaitu; pembentukan kelompok, diskusi, pemanggilan nomor, pemberian tanggapan atau pembahasan, dan kesimpulan. / Learning outcome is the most important aspect in learning, which is useful to diagnose both strength and weakness of it, as well as to measure progress or goal achievability and effectiveness of method usage. Based on data gathered, poor result has been shown from midterm scores of 14 out of 26 students, failing to surpass passing grade (65) with lowest score 45 and highest 75. The data is complemented by post test result of 24 out of 26 students, in which 12 students failing to surpass passing grade with average score 60,63, lowest score 30 and highest 85. Thus, this research focuses on students’ learning outcome and the implementation of Numbered Heads Together method. The objective of this research is to determine what and how the implementation of Numbered Heads Together method can improve cognitive learning outcome of the students. Research method used is Classroom Action Research of Robert P Pelton. First step of research is initiated by problem identification then toward research analysis. The research began on 3 September 2018 to 27 October 2018, involving 26 students at a Christian high school in Tangerang. The instrument that used in this research are lesson plan, feedback, observation, reflection, dan learning outcome of the students. The result shows that students’ cognitive learning outcome gets 5.23% average increase, 7,46% first indicator increase, 27,8% and fourth indicator increase. Method application comprises of 5 steps, which is; team forming, discussion, number calling, response and discussion, and conclusion.
