Abstract

Ekonomi adalah mata pelajaran yang memiliki keterkaitan erat dengan kehidupan manusia. Pembelajaran ekonomi yang baik seharusnya mampu membawa siswa memahami materi bahkan mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari . Namun, data yang diperoleh peneliti berdasarkan hasil tes pra pelaksanaan tindakan pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa siswa X IPS 3 belum mampu memahami konsep yang sementara dipelajari. Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa diterapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD). Tujuan penelian ini ialah untuk melihat ada tidaknya peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan langkah-langkah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa. Model penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti ialah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton yang berlangsung dalam dua kali pelaksanaan tindakan sejak 6 Agustus 2018 – 23 Oktober 2018 di SMAK YSKI Semarang kelas X IPS 3 dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 19 siswa. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah hasil tes kognitif siswa, lembar observasi mentor, angket siswa, wawancara dan jurnal refleksi. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dari pelaksanaan tindakan pertama ke pelaksanaan tindakan kedua dari 32% menjadi 89%. Peningkatan tersebut diperoleh setelah guru melakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan dalam langkah pelaksanaan STAD, mulai dari presentasi kelas, tim, kuis, skor kemajuan individu dan rekognisi tim. Evaluasi yang dimaksud ialah pelaksanaan model STAD yang memberikan proporsi waktu yang lebih banyak bagi siswa untuk belajar dalam tahap tim. Sementara guru hadir sebagai fasilitator yang mendukung siswa dalam pengerjaan tugas tim sebelum dilaksanakan tahapan kuis. Selain itu, perubahan media pembelajaran dari lembar kerja siswa menjadi penyampaian pertanyaan dengan media liquid crystal display projector juga membuat siswa fokus untuk menjawab setiap pertanyaan secara berurutan (berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep) sehingga pada akhirnya siswa dapat memahami semua konsep yang diajarkan dengan baik./ Economics is a subject that has a close relationship with human life. Good economic learning should be able to bring students to understand the material even applying it in daily life. However, the obtained data by researchers based on the test results of the introduction of learning actions indicates that X IPS 3 students have not been able to grasp the concept temporarily studied. Thus, to increase the student understanding of the concept is by implemented the cooperative learning model of team achievement division (STAD) type of a student. The purpose of this research is to see whether there is an increase in understanding of the student's concept with the application of the cooperative learning model of the STAD type and the cooperative learning steps of the stad type to increase understanding of the student's concept. The research model used by researchers is the test of class action research (PTK) pelton model that is taking two courses in action since August 6, 2018-23 October 2018 at SMAK YSKI Semarang, grade X IPS 3 with 19 students of research subject. The sources of data used in this study are the results of students' cognitive tests, mentor observation sheets, student frames, interviews and reflection journals. Results from research have shown that there is an increase from the first act to the second act by 32% towards 89%. The increase came after the teacher performed the evaluation and improvement in the stad's progress move, starting with class presentations, teams, quizzes, individual progress scores and the team's recoiling. The evaluation is the enforcement model of STAD that gives so much more time for students to learn in the team phase. While the teacher is present as the facilitator who supports students in the team's task work before completing the quiz phase. In addition, the learning media changes from the student worksheet to the presentation of a question with a liquid crystal display curve also focus students on answering each question in a sequence (based on concept understanding indicator) so that students can finally understand all concepts well taught.
