Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan yang dilakukan, murid kelas VII Sekolah Lentera Harapan Jatiagung belum mampu bekerja sama dalam mengikuti pembelajaran IPS. Murid masih memisahkan diri dari kelompok, pasif selama diskusi, tidak mendukung satu sama lain, tidak menghargai pendapat orang lain, dan kurang memberi kontribusi dalam kelompok. Hal ini mengakibatkan kurang tercapainya target pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan karena tidak ada interaksi dua arah melalui komunikasi yang intens. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Sray. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan keterampilan kerja sama murid melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) model Pelton. Penerapan tindakan dilakukan dua kali dalam empat kali pertemuan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah RPP, umpan balik mentor, lembar observasi guru, angket siswa, dan jurnal refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan kerja sama murid setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Murid menjadi bertanggung jawab secara bersama dalam menyelesaikan tugas kelompok, dapat menghargai pendapat orang lain, dan mampu memberikan kontribusi dalam kelompok. Penerapan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray juga dapat dimodifikasi dengan pemberian projek kreatif kepada murid dan harus mengalokasikan waktu dengan tepat./ Based on the observation done, the students class VII Sekolah Lentera Harapan Jatiagung not yet able to cooperate in learning Social Science. The students still separated themselves from the group, being passive while the discussion, unappreciated the others opinion, and less contributed in the group. It caused the lesson objectives determined becomes less achieve because no two-way interaction through intense communication. To solve this problem, the researcher implemented cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray. The purpose of this research is to explain the students’ cooperation ability through the implementation of Two Stay Two Stray learning model. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) of Pelton. The action implementation was done twice in four meetings. Instrument used were lesson plan, mentor’s feedback, teacher observation sheet, students’ questionnaire, and reflection journal. The result of the research showed that there was an improvement on students’ cooperation ability after implemented Two Stay Two Stray learning model. The students were responsible cooperatively in finishing group task, were able to appreciate others opinion, and were able to give contribution to the group. The implementation of Two Stay Two Stray learning model also could be modified by giving creative project to the students and have to allocate times precisely.
