Abstract

Hasil belajar kognitif penting dalam proses pengajaran Akuntansi karena hal ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa sudah mampu memahami materi yang diberikan, akan tetapi peneliti mendapati bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa masih rendah dan belum mencapai KKM yang ditetapkan yaitu 75. Berdasarkan nilai tes siswa dan nilai latihan soal yang diberikan menunjukkan bahwa nilai seluruh siswa di bawah KKM. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa dan menjelaskan langkah-langkah metode Team Assisted Individualization untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi di SMA Kristen Sekampung. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan PTK model Pelton yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 16 Juli – 09 Oktober 2018 di SMA Kristen Sekampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua kali tindakan dengan 8 orang sebagai subjek penelitian. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), lembar umpan balik mentor, jurnal refleksi, lembar observasi dan lembar tes siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ketuntasan siswa pada tindakan satu sebesar 87.5% dan pada tindakan kedua 100% dari KKM. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XI IPS pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi di SMA Kristen Sekampung meningkat dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TAI yaitu: pre-test, penjelasan materi oleh guru, pembagian siswa ke dalam kelompok, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dalam kelompok, bimbingan kepada siswa dalam kelompok, penilaian hasil kerja kelompok, siswa mengerjakan soal tes individu (post-test)./ Cognitive learning outcomes are important in the accounting teaching process because this shows that students are able to understand the material provided, but researcher find that students’ cognitive learning outcomes are still low and have not reached the minimum grade which is 75. Based on student test scores and practice scores given indicates that the score of all students were under the minimum grade. The purpose of this study is to improve students’ cognitive learning outcomes and explain the steps of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method to improve cognitive learning outcomes of Social-Science students of 11 grade on Accounting subjects at Sekampung Christian High School. This research method uses PTK Pelton model which was held on July 16, 2018 – October 9, 2018 at Sekampung Christian High School. This research was conducted in two actions with 8 people as the subjects of the study. The research instruments used were Lesson Plans (RPP), mentor feedback sheets, reflection journals, observation sheets and student test sheets. The result of this study shows that the completeness of students in action one was 87.5% and in the second action 100% of the minimum grade. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the cognitive learning outcomes of Social-Science students of 11 grade in Accounting subjects at Sekampung Christian High School increased by applying the steps of the TAI type of cooperative learning, which are: pre-test, explaination of material by the teacher, working of students in groups, assessment of group work results, students working on individual test (post-test).
