Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan perwujudan prestasi atau kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa setelah belajar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, diperoleh informasi bahwa hasil belajar siswa di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Palopo sangat rendah, yakni hanya empat dari 24 siswa yang mencapai standar kriteria ketuntasan minimal (≥75). Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya contoh dan latihan soal yang diberikan sehingga keterampilan siswa dalam menjawab soal-soal tes masih kurang. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika melalui penggunaan lembar kerja siswa. Model penelitian tindakan kelas yang digunakan adalah model penelitian Pelton yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 28 Agustus 2018 s/d 26 Oktober 2018. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes tertulis, angket, lembar umpan balik mentor, dan jurnal refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh informasi bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 25,64% dari tindakan I ke tindakan II. Peningkatan ini terjadi karena melalui penggunaan lembar kerja siswa, siswa diberikan banyak contoh dan latihan soal sehingga keterampilan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal matematika meningkat. / Students’ cognitive achievement is the representation of achievement or abilities that studens have learnt. According to observation results, researcher found that the cognitive achievement of students in one of Christian school in Palopo was low, that is only four out of 24 students that pass the minimum score criterion (≥ 75). This is influenced by the minimum of examples and exercises given so that the student’s skill in answering test question are still lacking. Based on the observation results, the researcher decide to conduct classroom action research in order to improve students’ cognitive achievement in mathematics learning through the implementation students worksheet. Researcher uses the Pelton’s model of classroom action research that conducted on August 28th, 2018 to October 26th , 2018. The data collection instruments that the researcher used are written test, questionnaire, mentor feedback sheet, and reflection journal. Data from those instruments were analiyzed descriptively. According to the analysis results, the implementation of students worksheet could improve students’ cognitive achievement in mathematics learning. Based on analysis results, researcher found that students’ cognitive achievement was improve by 25,64% from the first implementation to the second implementation. The improvement occurs because through the implementation of student’s worksheet, the students was given many examples and practice exercises so that students’ skills in solving mathematics problem was increase.
