Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat hutang terhadap investasi perusahaan Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2006 hingga 2021. Pelaku usaha memperluas bisnisnya melalui kegiatan investasi, dimana modal yang digunakan untuk berinvestasi salah satunya bersumber dari hutang. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan data laporan keuangan dari 643 perusahaan non-keuangan di Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat hutang memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap investasi perusahaan, namun peluang pertumubuhan perusahaan tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kedua hubungan ini untuk pasar Indonesia. / This study aims to analyze the effect of the leverage for corporate investment of Indonesian companies that registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2006 until 2021. Business actors expand their business through investment activities, where the capital used to invest comes from debt. This research utilizes financial report data from 643 non-financial companies in Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the level of debt has a negative effect on company investment, but the company's growth opportunities have no effect on these two relationships for the Indonesian market.
