Abstract

Berita merupakan suatu hal yang dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat. Hal tersebut dikarenakan isi dari berita merupakan sebuah informasi yang dapat membuat masyarakat mengetahui sesuatu, yang sebelumnya belum pernah mereka ketahui. Dikarenakan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin menjurus ke arah internet, masyarakat pun diharuskan untuk terus beradaptasi, begitu pula saat mencari berita. Selain beradaptasi, setiap masyarakat membutuhkan  berita yang sebenarnya, atau tidak hoax. Banyak sekali isu pada media online, dimana media memberitakan hal yang tidak sebenarnya. Hal ini berkaitan dengan penulis berita, dimana penulis berita diharapkan dapat melakukan proses pembuatan berita dengan baik dan menuliskan berita sesuai kaidah jurnalistik. Salah satu media yang melakukan penulisan berita online berdasarkan kaidah jurnalistik yakni media online Urbanasia.com. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan magang oleh pemagang sebagai penulis berita online, proses penulis berita di media Urbanasia.com selalu menulis berita yang terpaku dengan kaidah jurnalistik. Pemagang selalu mementingkan akurasi, independensi, serta objektif dalam suatu berita. Pemagang juga melakukan pencarian topik, angle, serta sumber-sumber yang kredibel. Informasi yang diterima dari sumber akan ditulis sesuai dengan informasi yang didapat tanpa ditambah atau dikurangi. Sumber bisa didapatkan dari berbagai kalangan seperti pakar, website pemerintah, maupun sumber kredibel lainnya. Selain hal tersebut, struktur serta hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan penulisan berita juga dilakukan sesuai kaidah jurnalistik./News is something that is needed by society. This is because the content of the news is information that can make people aware of something they have never known before. Due to technological developments that are increasingly leading to the internet, people are also required to continue to adapt, as well as when looking for news. Besides adapting, every society needs real news, or not hoax. There are lots of issues in the online media, where the media reports things that are not true. This is related to news writers, where news writers are expected to be able to carry out the process of making news well and writing news according to journalistic rules. One of the media that does online news writing based on journalistic principles is the online media Urbanasia.com. Based on the results of the internship carried out by interns as online news writers, the process of writing news at Urbanasia.com media always writes news that adheres to journalistic principles. Interns always prioritize accuracy, independence, and objectivity in news stories. The interns also search for credible topics, angles, and sources. Information received from sources will be written according to the information obtained without adding or subtracting. Sources can be obtained from various groups such as experts, government websites, and other credible sources. In addition to this, the structure and matters relating to news writing are also carried out according to journalistic principles.
