Abstract

K-Pop berhasil memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap dunia hiburan secara global. Dalam mendukung idolanya, seorang penggemar rela melakukan segala cara agar dapat menunjang popularitas idolanya termasuk dalam memberikan komentar yang negatif hingga berujung dengan fanwar. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai interaksi yang terjadi antar penggemar agar dapat melakukan identifikasi fanwar yang terjadi pada @allkpop. All kpop merupakan sebuah situs gosip selebriti serta berita yang berkaitan dengan K-Pop sejak tahun 2007. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi serta studi dokumentasi dalam mencari data terkait fanwar pada akun Twitter @allkpop. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggemar melakukan fanwar ketika terdapat komentar yang menyinggung idolanya terutama dalam hal prestasi karena adanya keterlibatan penggemar dalam membela idolanya merupakan Audience Involvement. Terdapat 4 proses yaitu Transportation, Parasocial Interaction, Identification dan Worship. Penggemar melakukan fanwar apabila idolanya direndahkan ataupun tidak diakui serta apabila adanya persaingan. Fanatisme membuat penggemar akan selalu memberikan komentar yang menurutnya benar sehingga seorang penggemar harus memiliki rasional dalam mendukung idolanya. / K-Pop has succeeded in making a big impact on the world of entertainment globally. In supporting their idol, a fan is willing to do everything they can to support their idol's popularity, including by giving negative comments that lead to fanwar. This study discusses the interactions that occur between fans in order to identify fanwar that occur at @allkpop. All kpop is a celebrity gossip site as well as news related to K-Pop since 2007. This research uses a type of qualitative research. This study uses observation methods and documentation studies to find data related to fanwar on the Twitter account @allkpop. The results of the study show that fans carry out fanwars when there are comments that offend their idols, especially in terms of achievements because the involvement of fans in defending their idols called Audience Involvement. There are four processes of Audience Involvement: Transportation, Para social interaction, Identification and Worship. Transportation, Parasocial Interaction, Identification and Worship. Fans carry out fanwars when their idols are denigrated or not recognized and when there is competition. Fanaticism makes fans always make comments that they think are right, so a fan must be rational in supporting their idol.
