Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kepemilikan pemerintah berpengaruh terhadap kebijakan cash holding perusahaab di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan 641 perusahaan terbuka di Indonesia yang diteliti dari tahun 2006 sampai tahun 2021. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah panel data, yaitu unbalanced panel data. Penelitian ini memperoleh data sekunder dari laporan tahunan, laporan keuangan, yang dapat di akses melalui S&P Capital IQ. Data diolah dengan analisis regresi data panel menggunakan program Stata 17. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepemilikan pemerintah berpengaruh terhadap tingkat cash holding Perusahaan. Koefisien variabel government ownership adalah positif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat cash holding Perusahaan, sehingga mengindikasikan bahwa government ownership memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk kebijakan cash holding perusahaan./This study was conducted to know whether government ownership affects the cash�holding policy of companies in Indonesia. This study used 641 public companies in Indonesia which were studied from 2006 to 2021. The type of data used in the study is panel data, namely unbalanced panel data. This study obtained secondary data from annual reports, and financial reports, which can be accessed through S&P Capital IQ. The data were processed with panel data regression analysis using the Stata 17 program. The results of this study indicate that government ownership affects the level of cash holding of the Company. The coefficient of the government ownership variable is positive and significant on the company's cash holding level, thus indicating that government ownership plays an important role in shaping the company's cash holding policy.
