To help these three students, researcher used method Case Study to find the factors that caused this three students low achieving in math by using the goal orientation theory. The researcher used students’ records of their math score, questionnaire filled by students, parents, and 7th grade math teacher, and interview that was done with students’ homeroom from 4th until 6th grade, and 7th grade homeroom and math teachers.
