Abstract

During the pandemic, people tend to spend time at home, which causes the demand for digital kitchen appliances to increase quite drastically. One of the popular appliances is the air fryer which can help to reduce the excessive oil content in a food, this apparatus may produce a good impact for health. Along with the benefit offered by air fryer, its user keeps increasing occasionally. This situation causes many electronic companies to compete in producing various types of air fryers with different specifications. On the other hand, various types of air fryers on the market have created difficulty for new buyers to make good choice given minimal information about the air fryer, therefore a practical assessment is needed to help users choose the best air fryer. In this study, two methods will be applied, namely SAW and TOPSIS. Through comparison, it is determined which method works better for selecting an air fryer. Based on the results, it shows that each method gives a different rank of air fryers. According to SAW the first ranked air fryer it suggests is A66 (Kaisa Villa Air Fryer); while the TOPSIS method places A27 (Han River Air Fryer HRAF05) in the top list. The suitability level of SAW is 99.9961%; while for TOPSIS is 99.9951%. It is concluded that SAW is recommended for selecting the best air fryer./ Pada saat pandemi masyarakat cenderung menghabiskan waktu di rumah yang menjadikan permintaan akan alat dapur digital meningkat cukup drastis. Salah satu alat yang sedang populer saat ini adalah air fryer, penggunaan air fryer dapat meminimalkan minyak yang berlebihan pada makanan sehingga dapat berdampak baik bagi kesehatan. Kelebihan tersebut menjadikan penggunaan air fryer meningkat yang dimana membuat perusahaan elektronik bersaing dalam mengeluarkan berbagai macam tipe air fryer dengan spesifikasi yang berbeda. Dari berbagai macam air fryer yang berada di pasaran membuat pembeli awam sulit untuk menentukan pilihan dengan informasi yang minim, sehingga membutuhkan sebuah perhitungan dengan penilaian yang adil untuk menghasilkan keputusan yang dapat membantu dalam pemilihan air fryer terbaik. Pada penelitian ini akan menerapkan metode SAW dan TOPSIS. Kedua metode akan dilakukan perbandingan untuk menemukan metode terbaik untuk diimplementasikan sesuai kriteria dalam pemilihan air fryer. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pada hasil perangkingan yang dimana peringkat pertama untuk metode SAW berada pada A66 (Kaisa Villa Air Fryer) sedangkan untuk metode TOPSIS berada pada A27 (Han River Air Fryer HRFA05). Kemudian hasil tingkat kesesuaian yang didapatkan metode SAW adalah 99.9961% dan metode TOPSIS adalah 99.9951% sehingga metode SAW lebih disarankan untuk diimplementasikan dalam pemilihan air fryer terbaik.
