Abstract

Paradigma industri manufaktur global saat ini memandang proses produksi sebagai satu kesatuan antara proses pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Oleh karena itu, masyarakat sudah tidak bisa lagi melihat produksi hanya di pabrik saja. Indonesia sudah menjadi basis industri manufaktur terbesar se-ASEAN dengan kontribusi mencapai 20,27% pada perekonomian skala nasional. Industri pulp dan kertas merupakan salah satu sektor unggulan yang terus dipacu pengembangannya karena memiliki ketersediaan bahan baku dan pasar domestik yang cukup besar serta didukung dengan penerapan teknologi canggih. Salah satu industri pulp dan kertas di Indonesia adalah PT Tjiwi Kimia. Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) didirikan di Indonesia pada tanggal 02 Oktober 1972 dan mulai beroperasi secara komersial pada tahun 1977. Salah satu perusahaan yang terafiliasi oleh PT Tjiwi Kimia yang bertindak sebagai distributor dari produk PT Tiwi Kimia adalah PT Makmur Jaya Usaha. PT. Makmur Jaya Usaha berdiri pada tahun 1970. PT Makmur Jaya Usaha selalu berupaya untuk memelihara kesetiaan karyawannya. Hal ini didukung dengan hasil wawancara dengan pihak Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang menyatakan bahwa karyawan PT Makmur Jaya Usaha rata-rata bekerja dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama yaitu di atas 5 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegtahui bagaimana pengaruh Kompensasi dan Pemberdayaan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja, dan bagaimana pengaruh Kompensasi, Pemberdayaan, dank Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan PT Makmur Jaya Usaha di Surabaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 54 karyawan PT Makmur Jaya Usaha dengan karakteristik pria atau wanita, sudah bekerja kurang lebih 2 tahun, bagian back office Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kompensasi dan Pemberdayaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kepuasan Kerja. Kompensasi dan Pemberdayaan vii tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan. Sedangkan Kepuasan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Karyawan / The current paradigm of the global manufacturing industry views the production process as a whole between the pre-production, production and post-production processes. Therefore, people can no longer see production only in factories. Indonesia has become the largest manufacturing industry base in ASEAN with contributions reaching 20.27% in the national scale economy. The pulp and paper industry is one of the leading sectors that continues to be spurred by its development because it has a large availability of raw materials and domestic markets and is supported by the application of advanced technology. One of the pulp and paper industries in Indonesia is PT Tjiwi Kimia. Tjiwi Kimia Tbk Paper Factory (TKIM) was established in Indonesia on October 2, 1972 and began commercial operations in 1977. One of the companies affiliated with PT Tjiwi Kimia acting as a distributor of PT Tiwi Kimia's products was PT Makmur Jaya Usaha. PT. Makmur Jaya Usaha was established in 1970. PT Makmur Jaya Usaha always strives to maintain the loyalty of its employees. This is supported by the results of interviews with the Human Resources (HR) which states that the employees of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha work on average for a long period of time, namely over 5 years. This study aims to find out how the influence of Compensation and Empowerment on Job Satisfaction, and how the influence of Compensation, Empowerment, and Job Satisfaction on Employee Loyalty of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha in Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative by processing data using SPSS. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to 54 employees of PT Makmur Jaya Usaha with characteristics of men or women, having worked for approximately 2 years, in the back office. The results of this study indicate that Compensation and Empowerment have a significant effect on Job Satisfaction. Compensation and Empowerment have no significant effect on Employee Loyalty. While Job Satisfaction has a significant effect on Employee Loyalty. ix
