Abstract

Penulisan proyek akhir ini dilatarbelakangi penemuan penulis dimana siswa memiliki hasil belajar kognitif yang rendah diukur pada sumatif 1. Hasil belajar kognitif adalah pencapaian siswa dari proses pembelajaran yang telah berlangsung meliputi pengetahuan, ingatan, pemahaman, dan penerapan. Terdapat tujuh indikator pengukur hasil belajar siswa yaitu mengetahui tujuan pembelajaran. memahami materi, memberikan contoh, bertanya, menjawab, menjelaskan ulang, memberikan kesimpulan. Meninjau hal tersebut, penggunaan metode yang tepat akan menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa sehingga tujuan dari penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah untuk memaparkan penerapan metode latihan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas XII MIPA pada materi reaksi redoks. Penulisan proyek akhir ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data dari pengalaman penulis selama PPL 2. Penerapan metode latihan dengan enam langkah dibuktikan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dimulai dengan memberikan motivasi, menyampaikan tujuan pembelajaran, penjelasan materi, memberikan soal, membahas soal dan memberikan PR. Menerapkan metode yang tepat adalah bagian dari peran guru Kristen dalam menuntun siswa memahami pembelajaran untuk semakin mengenal Kristus. Dengan demikian penulis menyarankan untuk memperhatikan rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran yang disusun apakah dapat dilakukan selama pembelajaran tersebut dan dapat mengelola pembagian waktu dengan lebih baik sehingga siswa memperoleh hasil belajar yang lebih baik/ The writing of this final project was motivated by the author's findings where students had low cognitive learning outcomes measured at summative 1. Cognitive learning outcomes are student achievements from the learning process that has taken place including knowledge, memory, understanding, and application. There are seven indicators measuring student learning outcomes, namely knowing learning objectives. understand the material, give examples, ask, answer, re-explain, give conclusions. Reviewing this, the use of appropriate methods will be a solution to improve student learning outcomes so that the purpose of writing this final project is to explain the application of exercise methods in improving cognitive learning outcomes of grade XII MIPA students on redox reaction material. The writing of this final project uses descriptive qualitative methods with data sources from the author's experience during PPL 2. The application of a six-step exercise method has been shown to improve student learning outcomes. Starting with providing motivation, conveying learning objectives, explaining the material, giving questions, discussing questions and giving homework. Applying appropriate methods is part of the Christian teacher's role in guiding students to understand learning to come to know Christ. Thus, the author suggests paying attention to the design of learning activities that are arranged whether they can be carried out during the learning and can manage the distribution of time better so that students get better learning outcomes.
