Abstract

Minat belajar siswa menjadi bagian penting karena memiliki pengaruh yang besar terhadap proses pembelajaran, yakni berpengaruh terhadap prestasi siswa dan kualitas pencapaian hasil belajar siswa. Minat belajar juga dapat membantu siswa Kristen terus bertumbuh dalam pengenalan akan Allah melalui pembelajaran yang dirancang berpusat kepada Kristus sebagai pengetahuan yang sejati. Sehingga diharapkan bahwa setiap siswa memiliki minat belajar yang baik. Peran guru sebagai pelayan yakni menyediakan kebutuhan siswa serta menciptakan pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa terkhusus siswa kelas 1, sehingga siswa memiliki minat belajar yang meningkat. Namun faktanya yang terjadi, pembelajaran kurang menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa, sehingga dapat menyebabkan minat belajar yang rendah. Melalui hal tersebut membawa kepada tujuan penulisan paper yakni mendeskripsikan penerapan metode play�based learning untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa, dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Play-based learning sangat cocok digunakan di dalam pembelajaran, karena play-based learning menarik dan menyenangkan bagi siswa. Melalui hal tersebut dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan rekap hasil peningkatan 100%. Saran dalam penelitian ini, yakni dalam penerapan play-based learning di perlukan ketegasan dalam setiap sesi, sehingga ketika pelaksaaan penerapan play-based learning tidak memakan waktu yang lama di luar perencanaan yang telah di buat sebelumnya/Student interest in learning is an important part because it has a big influence on the learning process, namely influencing student achievement and the quality of student learning outcomes. Interest in learning can also help Christian students continue to grow in their knowledge of God through learning that is designed to center on Christ as true knowledge. So, it is hoped that every student has a good interest in learning. The teacher's role as a servant is to provide for students' needs and create interesting and enjoyable learning for students, especially grade 1 students, so that students have increased interest in learning. However, in fact, learning is less interesting and enjoyable for students, which can lead to low interest in learning. This leads to the aim of writing the paper, namely, to describe the application of play-based learning methods to increase students' interest in learning, using qualitative descriptive methods. Play-based learning is very suitable for use in learning, because play-based learning is interesting and fun for students. Through this, it can increase students' interest in learning with a recap of the results of a 100% increase. The suggestion in this research is that in implementing play-based learning, you need to be firm in each session, so that when implementing play-based learning it doesn't take a long time beyond the plans that have been made previously
