Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pendidikan saat ini menuntut guru untuk mampu menyesuaikan pembelajaran yang kolaboratif dengan pemanfaatan media teknologi. Pembelajaran kolaboratif mendukung siswa untuk saling melengkapi dengan berbagi macam keunikannya dan meningkatkan komunitas belajar dalam kelas. Melalui observasi yang dilakukan penulis pada kelas XI IPS di salah satu sekolah Kristen di Tangerang Selatan, guru belum mampu mengembangkan kolaborasi siswa di tengah gejolak perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Hal ini terlihat melalui aktivitas dan kegiatan kelas yang ada belum sesuai dengan standar indikator pembelajaran kolaboratif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji bagaimana peran guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran kolaboratif kepada siswa dengan memanfaatkan platform pembelajaran digital yang tersedia. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan penulis adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Untuk mengembangkan kolaborasi siswa, penulis menggunakan platform Peardeck dalam pembelajaran yang menyediakan berbagai fitur interaktif. Melalui pembahasan hasil observasi dan kajian teori, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru dalam memanfaatkan media digital mampu mengembangkan kolaborasi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Saran yang dapat diberikan penulis untuk peneliti lainnya yaitu untuk mengkaji dan meneliti lebih dalam mengenai solusi mengatasi minimnya kolaborasi siswa dalam kelas di tengah pembelajaran digital. Hendaknya dengan penelitian yang mendalam, akan menemukan solusi dan efektif dan relevan kepada siswa sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan Kristen / Current developments in educational technology require teachers to be able to adapt collaborative learning to the use of technological media. Collaborative learning supports students to complement each other by sharing their unique qualities and enhances the learning community in the classroom. Through observations made by the author in class XI IPS at a Christian school in South Tangerang, teachers have not been able to develop student collaboration amidst the current turmoil of technological developments. This can be seen through existing class activities and activities that do not comply with collaborative learning indicator standards. The aim of this research is to examine the role of teachers in developing collaborative learning for students by utilizing available digital learning platforms. The research method used by the author is a descriptive qualitative method. To develop student collaboration, the author uses the Peardeck platform in learning which provides various interactive features. Through discussing the results of observations and theoretical studies, the author concludes that the teacher's role in utilizing digital media is able to develop student collaboration in learning. The advice that the author can give to other researchers is to study and research more deeply regarding solutions to overcome the lack of student collaboration in the classroom amidst digital learning. With in-depth research, solutions will be found that are effective and relevant to students in accordance with the goals of Christian education.
