Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia saat ini telah berkembang pesat dan perkembangan ini didukung dengan semakin meningkat bervariasinya kebutuhan manusia akan teknologi. Salah satu industri pengembang teknologi yang paling kompetitif dan berkembang pesat adalah teknologi komunikasi. Perusahaan-perusahaan produsen alat telekomunikasi berlombalomba menciptakan suatu alat telekomunikasi multifungsi untuk memberikan suatu kemudahan dalam berkomunikasi dipadukan dengan fitur-fitur yang begitu modern. Salah satu perusahaan yang menunjukkan fenomena penjualan yang luar biasa di Indonesia di tahun 2012 ini adalah produk Smartphone Samsung. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi keinginan untuk menggunakan konsumen terhadap produk Smartphone Samsung di Surabaya. Metode penelitian adalah kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuisioner. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah berusia 17- 65 tahun, bertempat tinggal di Surabaya, dan mengenal dan mengetahui fungsi dasar dari Samsung Galaxy Tab sejumlah 100 orang. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi berganda melalui uji F dan uji t. Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa manfaat yang dirasakan memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kemudahan yang dirasakan, kegembiraan yang dirasakan, estetika yang dirasakan terhadap keinginan untuk menggunakan konsumen. Berdasarkan temuan empiris tersebut ditunjukkan pula bahwa manfaat yang dirasakan membawa pengaruh signifikan yang positif terhadap keinginan untuk menggunakan / Nowadays, technological advances around the world including in Indonesia has been growing rapidly and this development is supported by increased and varied human need for technology. One of the technological developer industry most competitive and rapidly expanding is telecommunications industry. Telecom equipment manufacturers are vying to create a multi-function telecommunications device to provide a convenience in communication that combine with modern multimedia features. One of the companies that show outstanding sales phenomenon in Indonesia in the year of 2012 is the product of Samsung Smartphone. This study aimed to determine the factors that influence intention to adopt the product Smartphone Samsung in Surabaya. Research method was quantitative. Questionnaires were used to collect data. Sample of this study were 17-65 years old, living in Surabaya, and know the standard function about Samsung Galaxy Tab for about 100 respondents. Multiple linear regressions were used for hypothesis testing with F test and t test. Based on these empirical findings also point out that perceived usefulness of the significant positive influence on intention to adopt if appeal with perceived ease of use, perceived playfulness, perceived aesthetic.
