Abstract

Manusia merupakan makhluk sosial yang membutuhkan keberadaan orang lain. Manusia bukan hanya butuh namun seharusnya berguna bagi orang lain di sekitar mereka. Tetapi karena kejatuhannya, manusia hanya memikirkan keuntungan dirinya sendiri. Siswa yang seharusnya saling mengasihi justru tidak peduli terhadap sesama. Siswa yang cepat dalam memahami materi dan mengerjakan tugas tidak bernisiatif membantu temannya yang kesulitan memahami materi dan lambat dalam pengerjaan tugas. Sebagai upaya untuk memperbaiki masalah hasil belajar dan hubungan antarsiswa, penelitian mengenai peer tutoring diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan apakah peer tutoring dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan faktor apa saja yang memengaruhi penerapan peer tutoring dalam kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang ditunjukkan adalah hasil belajar siswa meningkat dilihat berdasarkan nilai, dan refleksi siswa. Nilai siswa meningkat dari rata-rata 79.09 menjadi 80.34. Jumlah siswa yang tidak lulus KKM juga berkurang dari 6 orang menjadi 1 orang. Berdasarkan refleksi siswa, terlihat bahwa peer tutoring membuat interaksi antarsiswa lebih baik. 13 dari 25 siswa lebih bersemangat untuk bekerja bersama teman mereka padahal sebelumnya terbiasa bekerja sendiri. Saran bagi penelitian selanjutnya ada empat. Pertama, penerapan metode diefektikan dengan langkah penerapan metode peer tutoring. Tutor yang ditentukan sebaiknya melalui proses seleksi terlebih dahulu. Kedua adalah variasi atau percampuran dengan metode lain seperti jigsaw. Ketiga, manajemen waktu yaitu penelitian dapat dilakukan lebih lama, dan memaksimalkan penggunaan teknologi. / Humans are social creatures who need the existence of other people. Humans not only need but should be useful for other people around them. But because of his fall into sin, man only thinks about his own good. Students who should love each other actually don't care about each other. Students who are good in understanding the material and doing assignments do not at have an initiative to help their friends who have difficulty understanding the material and are slow in doing the assignments. In order to improve problems with learning outcomes and relationships between students, research on peer tutoring was implemented. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results shown are that student learning outcomes have increased based on grades and student reflection. Student scores increased from an average of 79.09 to 80.34. The number of students who did not pass the KKM was also reduced from 6 people to 1 person. Based on student reflections, it appears that peer tutoring makes interactions between students better. 13 out of 25 students were more enthusiastic about working with their friends even though they were previously used to working alone. There are four suggestions for further research. First, this method can be improved by changing the steps in implementing the peer tutoring method. The second is a variation or mixture with other methods such as jigsaw. Third, time management, namely research can be carried out for longer and maximize the use of technology.
