Abstract

Pendidikan di abad 21 menjadi sebuah wadah bagi siswa untuk mengembangkan diri serta mengekspresikan dirinya. Peran seorang siswa tentu mendukung proses pembelajaran. Salah satu peran penting siswa dalam pembelajaran adalah aktif. Keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas sangat mendorong proses pembelajaran karena akan menciptakan pembelajaran yang efektif. Namun, kesadaran siswa untuk terlibat aktif masih minim. Perasaan takut dan malu yang tumbuh menjadi persepsi yang salah menjadikan siswa mengurungkan niatnya untuk aktif di dalam kelas. Salah satu metode yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru adalah pemberian reward. Metode ini mampu memberikan rasa semangat pada siswa untuk terlibat aktif di kelas. Perkembangan pola berpikir siswa perlu diubahkan terlebih untuk bisa semakin segambar dan serupa dengan Allah. Penulisan paper ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas ada kaitannya dengan penanaman pendidikan karakter seorang siswa. Pemberian reward pada siswa dapat menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas. Sebelumnya penerapan metode ini siswa cenderung diam, selama penerapan metode secara perlahan siswa terlibat aktif hingga pada akhirnya siswa dapat terlibat aktif secara konsisten di dalam pembelajaran. Peran guru dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa sangat pentin. Selain itu, siswa perlu sadar bahwa dirinya makhluk berdosa yang memerlukan pemulihan melalui pembelajaran di kelas. / Education in the 21st century is a forum for students to develop themselves and express themselves. The role of a student certainly supports the learning process. One of the important roles of students in learning is to be active. Student activity in the classroom really encourages the learning process because it will create effective learning. However, students' awareness of being actively involved is still minimal. Feelings of fear and shame that grow into wrong perceptions make students give up their intention to be active in class. One method that teachers can use is to give rewards. This method is able to give students a sense of enthusiasm to be actively involved in class. The development of students' thinking patterns needs to be changed, especially so that they can become more like and similar to God. This paper was written using descriptive and qualitative methods. Student activity in the classroom is related to cultivating a student's character education. Giving rewards to students can show that there has been an increase in student activity in the classroom. Previously, when applying this method, students tended to be quiet. During the implementation of the method, students were slowly actively involved until, in the end, they were consistently actively involved in learning. The teacher's role in creating a learning environment that is able to increase student activity is very important. Apart from that, students need to be aware that they are sinful creatures who need healing through classroom learning.
