Abstract

Anak usia dini pada dasarnya adalah anak yang sedang berada dalam proses perkembangan yaitu perkembangan moral-agama, fisik-motorik, kognitif, sosial-emosional, seni, dan bahasa. Kejadian 1:26-28 mengungkapkan bahwa manusia diciptakan menurut gambar dan rupa Allah yang paling berharga. Pada kenyataannya banyak anak usia dini yang mengalami kendala dalam perkembangan motorik hal ini, berpengaruh terhadap aspek perkembangan lainnya dan pengenalan akan identitas dirinya. Identitas anak usia dini sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah ini merujuk pada konsep diri yang diciptakan oleh Allah memperlihatkan sifat Allah tanpa membedakan tubuh dan jiwa/roh. Maka, tujuan dari penulisan proyek akhir ini adalah mendeskripsikan identitas diri ditinjau dari perkembangan motorik anak dalam melakukan aktivitasnya. Melalui metode kajian literatur dan pendekatan iman Kristen ditemukan bahwa perkembangan motorik anak usia dini membantu anak melihat diri sebagai gambar dan rupa Allah. Perkembangan motorik pada anak dapat menggambarkan Allah yang sempurna melalui setiap aktivitas yang anak lakukan. Perkembangan motorik menjadi cara anak dalam mengenal, memahami dan menerapkan sifat Allah seperti kasih sayang, kebijaksanaan, kreativitas, keajaiban dan kebesaran Allah yang tercermin dalam aktivitasnya. Guru dapat membantu murid melihat identitas dirinya dengan cara setiap pengajaran, strategi, dan pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang guru pilih disesuaikan dengan kemampuan pada masa perkembangan motorik mereka./Early childhood is essentially a period of developmet for children, encompassing moral and religiois, physical, cognitive, social and emotional, artistic, and languange development. In Genesis 1:26-28, it is revealed that humans were created in the image of God and are His most precious creation. In reality, many young children experience challenges in motor development, which affects other aspects of their development. Christian education should recognize the importance of motor development in early childhood as an image of God. The identity of young children as an image of God refers to the self-concept created by God that radiates His nature without distingushing between the body and soul/spirit. Through literature review and Christian faith approach, it is found that the motor development of young children helps them look themselves as the image of God. Their motor development can reflect the perfection of God. Motor development becomes a way for children to know, understand, and embody God’s attribute such as love, wisdom, creativity, the miracles and greatness, which are manifested in their activities. Teachers can help students realize their identity by tailoring their teachings strategies, and method selection to align with the children’s motor development abilities.
