Abstract

Keaktifan belajar murid merupakan sebuah upaya yang ditunjukkan oleh murid untul mengoptimalkan kemampuannya dengan berperan aktif untuk belajar di kelas. Hal yang memengaruhi keaktifan belajar murid khususnya bagi murid nursery adalah pemilihan metode mengajar. Pemilihan metode mengajar yang kurang sesuai dengan kebutuhan murid dapat menyebabkan kurangnya keaktifan belajar murid nursery di kelas. Oleh sebab itu, penting bagi seorang guru Kristen menetukan metode yang tepat dan bahan ajar sebagai alat peraga yang digunakan di kelas. Penulisan ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif yang memiliki tujuan penulisan adalah menganalisis implementasi dari metode demonstrasi yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar murid nursery di dalam kelas. Metode demonstrasi menggunakan alat peraga membantu murid untuk memahami materi yang dibahas dan membuat murid nursery aktif dalam belajar. Adapun hasil dari penulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa metode mengajar demonstrasi menggunakan alat peraga efektif diterapkan di kelas untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar murid nursery sesuai dengan pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya yang berada pada tahap praoperasional. Keaktifan belajar murid nursery dapat membentuk dasar-dasar pengetahuan, keterampilan dan juga karakternya. Oleh sebab itu, murid perlu untuk memiliki pengetahuan sejati supaya dia dapat melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik sesuai dengan kehendak Tuhan, (2 timotius 3:16)/Student learning activity is an effort shown by students to optimize their abilities by playing an active role in learning in class. The thing that influences students' active learning, especially for nursery students, is the choice of teaching method. Choosing a teaching method that is less suited to students' needs can cause a lack of active learning in nursery students in the classroom. Therefore, it is important for a Christian teacher to determine the right methods and teaching materials as teaching aids used in class. This writing uses descriptive qualitative, the aim of the writing is to analyze the implementation of the demonstration method which can increase the learning activity of nursery students in the classroom. The demonstration method using visual aids helps students to understand the material discussed and makes nursery students active in learning. The results of this paper show that the demonstration teaching method using visual aids is effectively applied in the classroom to increase the learning activity of nursery students in accordance with their growth and development which is at the pre-operational stage. Nursery students' active learning can form the basics of knowledge, skills and character.Therefore, students need to have true knowledge so that they can carry out their duties and responsibilities well in accordance with God's will (2 Timothy 3:16)
