Abstract

Pendidikan mengharapkan kualitas manusia yang unggul dan siap pakai. Kualitas pendidikan didasarkan kepada pembelajaran bermakna, dengan salah satu indikatornya, yaitu kondisi kelas yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Untuk menciptakan kondisi kelas yang demikian, dibutuhkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa. Penelitian yang dilakukan penulis pada siswa kelas I SD menyatakan bahwa 57,69% dari 26 siswa belum mampu melakukan kedisiplinan belajar dengan tepat. Hal ini mengakibatkan kondisi kelas tidak terkontrol, proses pembelajaran terhambat, dan menurunnya makna pembelajaran. Kedisiplinan belajar siswa dilatih dengan menerapkan metode pembiasaan rules dan procedures, melalui kegiatan rutin, teladan, dan spontan. Harapannya, melalui metode ini, kedisiplinan belajar siswa dapat tercapai dalam head, heart, dan hand. Dengan demikian, tujuan penulisan ini adalah menunjukkan dan mendeskripsikan penerapan metode pembiasaan rules dan procedures kelas untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan belajar siswa kelas I SD. Melalui metode deskriptif kualitatif, didapatkan hasil bahwa kedisiplinan belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan metode pembiasaan rules dan procedures. Kekonsisten terhadap rules dan procedures, akan membawa siswa semakin mengenal ketaatan hukum Allah, dalam pemuridan bersama Kristus. Kesimpulan dari penulisan ini adalah kedisiplinan belajar siswa dengan menggunakan metode pembiasaan rules dan procedures mengalami peningkatan berdasarkan indikator, dari 19,23% dan 26,92% menjadi 100%. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah penerapan metode dengan jangka waktu yang lama dan melibatkan peran orang tua. Saran untuk guru, yaitu konsisten, tegas, dan kreatif dalam menerapkan metode ini./ Education expects superior and ready-to-use human qualities. The quality of education is based on meaningful learning, with one indicator, namely interactive and enjoyable classroom conditions. To create such classroom conditions, student learning discipline is needed. Research conducted by the author on grade I elementary school students stated that 57,69% out of 26 students were not able to carry out appropriate learning discipline. This results in uncontrolled classroom conditions, the learning process is hampered, and the meaning of learning decreases. Students' learning discipline is trained by applying the method of familiarizing themselves with rules and procedures, through routine, exemplary and spontaneous activities. The hope is that through this method, student learning discipline can be achieved in the head, heart and hand. Thus, the purpose of this writing is to show and describe the application of the method of familiarizing class rules and procedures to improve the learning discipline of grade I elementary school students. Through the qualitative descriptive method, the results showed that students' learning discipline had increased with the method of familiarizing themselves with rules and procedures. Consistency with rules and procedures will lead students to become more familiar with obedience to God's law, in discipleship with Christ. The conclusion of this writing is that student learning discipline using the rules and procedures habituation method has increased based on indicators, from 19.23% and 26.92% to 100%. Suggestions for future researchers are to apply the method over a long period of time and involve the role of parents. Suggestions for teachers are to be consistent, firm and creative in applying this method.
