Abstract

Pada dasarnya siswa merupakan pribadi yang aktif dan mau belajar. Namun, kejatuhan manusia dalam dosa membuat siswa cenderung tidak dapat melakukan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, ditemukan rendahnya keaktifan belajar siswa, seperti tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru, tidak mengikuti instruksi guru, tidak bertanya, tidak memberikan tanggapan, dan tidak terlibat dalam diskusi. Guru Kristen sebagai gembala memiliki intervensi untuk menuntun siswa supaya dapat aktif belajar melalui pendekatan belajar, sehingga mengembalikan siswa kepada tujuan awalnya untuk memuliakan dan semakin mengenal Allah. Tujuan penulisan paper ini adalah untuk mengetahui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat menstimulus keaktifan belajar siswa kelas III SD pada pelajaran tematik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data berupa lembar observasi, RPP, jurnal refleksi mengajar, umpan balik mentor, lembar ceklist mentor, dan angket siswa. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dapat menstimulus keaktifan belajar siswa kelas III SD pada pelajaran tematik. Saran dalam mengimplementasikan model TGT adalah penting bagi guru untuk mempertimbangkan alokasi waktu yang ada dengan banyaknya materi pembelajaran yang harus disajikan pada saat penerapan TGT supaya setiap tahap TGT terlaksana dengan baik./Basically, students are active individuals and willing to learn. However, the fall of man into sin makes students less likely to be able to perform their duties and responsibilities properly. Based on the observations, it was found that low student learning activity, such as not paying attention to the teacher's explanation, not following the teacher's instructions, not asking, not giving responses, and not engaging in discussions. Christian teachers as pastors have interventions to guide students to actively learn through a learning approach, thus returning students to their original goal of glorifying and getting to know God better. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model can stimulate the learning activity of grade III elementary school students in thematic lessons. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data sources in the form of observation sheets, lesson plans, teaching reflection journals, mentor feedback, mentor checklist sheets, and student questionnaires. The results of the research obtained are the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model can stimulate the learning activity of grade III elementary school students in thematic lessons. Suggestions in implementing the TGT model are important for teachers to consider the allocation of time available with the amount of learning material that must be presented at the time of TGT implementation so that each stage of TGT is carried out properly.
