Abstract

Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan keterampilan abad 21 yang dibutuhkan oleh setiap individu. Seseorang dikatakan mampu berkolaborasi jika memenuhi indikator kolaborasi. Penelitian dilakukan dari 1 Agustus – 1 September 2023 dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas I SD di Palembang. Berdasarkan data portofolio, ditemukan fakta bahwa siswa memiliki keterampilan kolaborasi yang rendah karena belum memenuhi indikator kolaborasi. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah menjelaskan penerapan metode game based learning sebagai upaya mengembangkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas I SD di Palembang dengan metode penulisan deskriptif kualitatif. Tugas akhir ini membahas filsafat pragmatisme dan progresivisme sesuai dengan pendidikan abad 21 ditinjau dengan perspektif Kristen. Dalam menerapkan metode game based learning, guru harus mendasarinya dengan firman Tuhan agar siswa mampu mengembangkan keterampilan kolaborasinya untuk menyatakan kebenaran-Nya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode game based learning mengakomodasi aktivitas pembelajaran secara berkelompok dan mendorong siswa dalam bekerja sama, bertanggung jawab, serta menghargai sesama. Dapat disimpulkan, metode game based learning mampu diterapkan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Saran untuk peneliti selanjutnya adalah mengukur keterampilan kolaborasi sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan metode game based learning dan melakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode lain dengan didukung sumber terbaru. Saran untuk guru adalah menilai keterampilan kolaborasi setiap siswa serta memperhatikan pengelolaan waktu dan kelas agar tetap kondusif/Collaboration skills are 21st century skills needed by every individual. Someone is said to be able to collaborate if they meet the collaboration indicators. The research was conducted from 1 August – 1 September 2023 with the research subjects being grade I elementary school students in Palembang. Based on portfolio data, it was found that students had low collaboration skills because they did not meet the collaboration indicators. The purpose of this article is to explain the application of game-based learning methods as an effort to develop collaboration skills for grade I elementary school students in Palembang using qualitative descriptive writing methods. This final assignment discusses the philosophy of pragmatism and progressivism in accordance with 21st century education viewed from a Christian perspective. In implementing game-based learning methods, teachers must apply them to God's word so that students are able to develop their collaboration skills to declare His truth. The results of this research show that the game-based learning method accommodates group learning activities and encourages students to work together, be responsible and respect each other. It can be concluded that game based learning methods can be applied to develop students' collaboration skills. Suggestions for future researchers are to measure collaboration skills before and after implementing game-based learning methods and conduct research using other methods supported by the latest sources. Suggestions for teachers are to assess each student's collaboration skills and pay attention to management and class time so that it remains conducive.
