Abstract

Emerging adulthood merupakan masa di mana individu mencari komitmen dan mengembangkan kelekatan aman dengan pasangan mereka. Kelekatan aman dalam hubungan pasangan dapat berasal dari berbagai faktor, salah satunya kelekatan dengan figur ibu yang akan berdampak pada quality of relationship pasangan. Penelitian kuantitatif non-eksperimental ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kelekatan dengan figur ibu terhadap quality of relationship pada emerging adults di Jabodetabek yang sedang berpacaran. Alat ukur Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment dan Quality of Relationship Inventory digunakan untuk mengukur kelekatan dengan figur ibu dan quality of relationship dari 230 individu berusia 18- 25 tahun. Partisipan diperoleh menggunakan purposive sampling dan data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelekatan ibu memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap quality of relationship emerging adults di Jabodetabek yang sedang berpacaran. / Emerging adulthood is a phase in which individuals seek commitment and develop secure attachment with their partners. Secure attachment in romantic relationships can result from various factors, one of which is attachment to the mother figure, which can impact the quality of the relationship with their partners. This non- experimental quantitative research aims to examine the influence of attachment to the mother figure on the quality of relationships among emerging adults in the Jabodetabek region who are in romantic relationships. The Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment and the Quality of Relationship Inventory were used to measure attachment to the mother figure and the quality of the relationship in 230 individuals aged 18-25 years. Participants were obtained through purposive sampling, and data were analyzed using linear regression analysis. The results show that attachment to the mother figure has a significant influence on the quality of relationships among emerging adults in Jakarta Metropolitan Area, who are in romantic relationships.
