Abstract

Sektor perhotelan di Indonesia yang senantiasa berkembang berperan penting dalam berkontribusi terhadap perekonomian dan pembangunan negara. Sebagai salah satu industri yang bergerak khusus pada pengadaan layanan, sektor perhotelan terus menerus ditantang untuk dapat memenuhi kepuasan pelanggan yang selalu berubah seiring dengan perkembangan dunia. Indonesia sebagai negara yang memiliki potensi turis terbesar menjadi sasaran utama wisatawan untuk datang dan menikmati keindahan alamnya, terutama daerah Bandar Lampung yang masih berkembang. Maka penting bagi sektor perhotelan Bandar Lampung untuk dapat menjadi penggerak utama dalam perkembangan daerah Lampung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis signifikansi pengaruh kesadaran peluang, lingkungan kreatif, intensi berinovasi dan perilaku inovatif terhadap kinerja hotel di Bandar Lampung. Penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan metode purposive sampling dan mengambil sampel dari populasi hotel di Bandar Lampung. Responden merupakan 168 karyawan hotel Bandar Lampung dan data dikumpulkan melalui google form. Analisis penelitian menggunakan Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) dengan aplikasi SmartPLS 3. Penelitian menemukan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kesadaran peluang, lingkungan kreatif, intensi berinovasi, dan perilaku inovatif terhadap kinerja hotel. Intensi berinovasi juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja hotel dengan dimediasi oleh perilaku inovatif. Penelitian ini membuktikan pentingnya implementasi inovasi untuk sektor perhotelan guna meningkatkan kinerja keseluruhan hotel Bandar Lampung. / The constantly growing and competitive hotel sector in Indonesia plays a crucial role in contributing to the economy and the country's development. As one of the industries specialized in providing services, the hotel sector is continuously challenged to meet the evolving customer satisfaction in line with the changing world. Indonesia, with its immense tourism potential, is a prime destination for tourists to come and enjoy its natural beauty, particularly in the developing area of Bandar Lampung. Therefore, it is essential for the hotel sector in Bandar Lampung to become a primary driver in the development of the Lampung region. This research aims to analyze the significance of the influence of opportunity awareness, creative environment, innovativeness, and innovative behavior on hotel performance in Bandar Lampung. The research is quantitative in nature, using purposive sampling method and taking samples from the population of hotels in Bandar Lampung. The respondents are 168 employees of hotels in Bandar Lampung, and data is collected through Google Forms. The research analysis uses Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3 software. The study found a positive and significant relationship between opportunity awareness, creative environment, innovativeness, and innovative behavior on hotel performance. Innovativeness also has a positive and significant impact on hotel performance, mediated by innovative behavior. This research demonstrates the importance of innovation implementation in the hotel sector to enhance the overall performance of hotels in Bandar Lampung.
