Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between sleep quality and emotional regulation in working mothers with toddlers in the JABODETABEK area. Emotional regulation is described as an individual's ability to manage and express emotions, which plays a crucial role in daily life. This study is based on the assertion that working mothers experience emotional dysregulation due to factors such as sleep quality, which is said to affect emotional regulation. Poor sleep quality can lead to negative moods and various other psychological disorders. The research employs a quantitative method and yields results indicating a significant positive impact of sleep quality on emotional regulation (r = .684, p < .001), explaining that higher sleep disturbances correspond to higher levels of emotional dysregulation experienced. Additionally, the study reveals that age and marital status significantly influence emotional regulation.
