Abstract

Niat berwirausaha dapat dijelaskan dengan aspek perilaku kewirausahaan yang menekankan motivasi untuk realisasi diri, dan kurangnya alternatif yang layak untuk kerja juga dapat dilihat sebagai kebutuhan. Nilai individualistis adalah motivator umum yang dapat membantu wirausahawan dalam menciptakan usaha baru. Di kota Bitung, angka presentase wirausaha muda pada tahun 2021 tercatat sebesar 13% yang dimana masih terbilang cukup sedikit jika dibandingkan dengan jumlah wirausaha biasa. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner dari nilai-nilai individualistis (Self-direction, Stimulation, Hedonism, Achievement, Power) dan niat berwirausaha, serta akan dilakukan bersama 200 responden yang merupakan kaum generasi z yang berdomisili di Kota Bitung. Pengolahan data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang telah disebarkan diolah menggunakan SmartPLS VERSI 4.0.9.2. Penelitian ini melihat hubungan antara nilai individualistis yang diambil dari basic individual values yang dicetuskan oleh Schwartz (Self-direction, Stimulation, Hedonism, Achievement, Power) dan niat berwirausaha dari kaum generasi z Kota Bitung. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa self-direction dan power memiliki hubungan positif pada entrepreneurial intention (niat berwirausaha), sedangkan stimulation, hedonism, dan achievement tidak memiliki hubungan dengan entrepreneurial intention (niat berwirausaha) pada generasi z di Kota Bitung./ Entrepreneurial intention can be explained by aspects of entrepreneurial behaviour that emphasize motivation for self-realization, and the lack of viable alternatives for work can also be seen as a need. Individualistic values are a common motivator that can help entrepreneurs in creating new ventures. In the city of Bitung, the percentage of young entrepreneurs in 2021 was recorded at 13%, which is still quite small compared to the number of ordinary entrepreneurs. This research uses quantitative research method using questionnaires on individualistic values (Self-direction, Stimulation, Hedonism, Achievement, Power) and entrepreneurial intention, and will be conducted with 200 respondents who are classified generation z who live in Bitung City. Data used in research were obtained through questionnaires that have been distributed is processed using SmartPLS 4.0.9.2 version. This research looks at the relationship between individualistic values taken from the basic individual values that was initiated by Schwartz (Self-direction, Stimulation, Hedonism, Achievement, Power) and the entrepreneurial intentions of Generation Z in Bitung City. The research results show that self-direction and power have a positive relationship with entrepreneurial intention, while stimulation, hedonism, and achievement have no relationship with entrepreneurial intention in Generation Z in Bitung City.
