Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memahami dampak penerapan EnvESG terhadap nilai perusahaan atau Growth Opportunity (GO), dengan mempertimbangkan moderasi dalam konteks masa krisis. Metode analisis uji asumsi klasik digunakan dengan melibatkan 74 perusahaan sebagai sampel selama periode sepuluh tahun (2012-2022) dengan total observasi sebanyak 406 data. Lingkungan diidentifikasi sebagai salah satu faktor yang mungkin memengaruhi penelitian ini, dengan krisis COVID-19 dianggap sebagai variabel moderasi yang dapat memperkuat atau memperlemah pengaruhnya. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini melibatkan informasi dari BEI ESG, database S&P Capital IQ, Yahoo Finance, dan Refinitiv Eikon untuk menilai tingkat kepatuhan terhadap prinsip ESG. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang hubungan antara penerapan ESG dan nilai perusahaan, dengan mempertimbangkan dinamika krisis dalam konteks ekonomi global. / This study is conducted with the aim of understanding the impact of implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) on company value or Growth Opportunity, considering moderation in the context of a crisis. The method employs classic assumption testing analysis, involving 74 companies as samples over a ten-year period (2012-2022) with a total of 406 observations. The environment is identified as one of the potential factors influencing this research, with the COVID-19 crisis considered a moderating variable that can either strengthen or weaken its impact. Data used in this study include information from BEI ESG, S&P Capital IQ database, Yahoo Finance, and Refinitiv Eikon to assess compliance with ESG principles. The research provides in-depth insights into the relationship between ESG implementation and company value, taking into account the dynamics of the crisis in the global economic context.
