Abstract

Rumah sakit bersaing dengan cara mengupayakan kualitas pelayanan yang dapat memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan konsumennya. Untuk menang dari persaingan antar rumah sakit, mereka bersaing untuk menjadi lebih baik satu dengan lainnya serta tetap memelihara citra rumah sakit sebaik mungkin dan terus menerus mengembangkan inovasi-inovasi untuk menjaga mutu pelayanan yang diberikan. Menyediakan mutu pelayanan yang baik sangatlah berkaitan atau sangatlah bergantung pada sumber daya manusia. Perawat merupakan salah satu sumber daya kunci dalam pelayanan rumah sakit karena mereka yang berhadapan langsung dengan pasien dan keluarga pasien. Lingkup penelitian ini mencakup tiga variabel independen, yaitu karakteristik individu, stres kerja, motivasi kerja, satu variabel mediasi yaitu kepuasan kerja, dan satu variabel dependen yaitu kinerja. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh perawat yang bekerja di rumah sakit umum daerah X di Jakarta Selatan pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bersifat non-eksperimental dengan menggunakan data primer di rumah sakit swasta yang berada di DKI Jakarta tepatnya di Kotamadya Jakarta Selatan pada bulan September 2023 . Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan PLS-SEM. Terdapat 163 responden yang melakukan pengisian kuesioner. Menurut hasil penelitian stres kerja,memiliki pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja perawat. Karakteristik individu, kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja mememiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja perawat di rumah sakit. Studi ini memberikan panduan bagi manajemen rumah sakit agar dapat meningkatkan kinerja perawat. / Hospitals engage in competitive strategies by actively pursuing the provision of high-quality services that effectively cater to the diverse needs of their clientele. In order to gain a competitive advantage in the healthcare industry, hospitals engage in a perpetual pursuit of excellence, striving to surpass their counterparts and uphold a superior institutional reputation. This entails a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement, as hospitals endeavor to cultivate innovative practices that sustain the highest standards of service quality. The provision of high-quality service is intricately linked to, or significantly reliant upon, the human resources employed. Nurses play a crucial role in hospital services as they are directly involved in providing care to patients and their families. This study encompasses three distinct independent factors, specifically individual characteristics, work stress, and work motivation. Additionally, it incorporates one mediating variable, namely job satisfaction, and one dependent variable, namely performance. The participants of this research comprised exclusively of nurses employed at X regional general hospital located in South Jakarta throughout the year 2023. This study employs a quantitative research design, namely a non-experimental strategy, to analyze primary data collected from private hospitals in DKI Jakarta. The study focuses specifically on the Municipality of South Jakarta during the month of September 2023. The acquired data will be subjected to analysis utilizing descriptive and inferential statistics through the employment of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study findings indicate that there is a detrimental impact of work-related stress on the performance of nurses. The performance of nurses in hospitals is positively influenced by individual qualities, job happiness, and work motivation. This study provides guidance for hospital management to improve nurse performance.
