Abstract

Untuk menciptakan atmosfer atau suasana dalam suatu ruang, terdapat dua elemen yang mempengaruhi atmosfer suatu ruang yaitu material dan pencahayaan. Keduanya tidak hanya berperan sebagai elemen dasar, tetapi juga saling berinteraksi untuk membentuk karakteristik dari setiap ruang. Fokus penelitian ini akan membahas hubungan material dan pencahayaan seperti apa yang dapat mempengaruhi atmosfer suatu ruang, dan untuk mengetahui dampak peran pencahayaan dan material dalam menciptakan atmosfer di terowongan Silaturahmi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus interpretatif, metode tersebut dapat digunakan untuk membahas dan menganalisis interaksi antar material yang digunakan dan pencahayaan dalam membentuk atmosfer di Terowongan Silaturahmi. Keterkaitan antara material dan pencahayaan dalam menciptakan atmosfer di dalam ruangan melibatkan pembentuk dan pengaruh pada pengalaman sensori manusia. Pengalaman tersebut mencakup persepsi melalui sentuhan, pendengaran, penglihatan, dan perasaan. Oleh karena itu, dalam konteks ini, arsitektur tidak hanya dilihat sebagai sesuatu yang tampak secara visual, tetapi juga sebagai sesuatu yang dapat dirasakan dan dialami secara menyeluruh melalui Indera manusia. Dengan mempertimbangkan indra manusia, arsitektur dapat menjadi lebih berdampak, dan memberikan pengalaman-pengalaman spasial tidak hanya estetis tetapi juga mendalam secara pengalaman./To create an atmosphere or atmosphere in a space, there are two elements that affect the atmosphere of a space: material and light. The two not only act as basic elements, but also interact with each other to form the characteristics of each space. The focus of this study will be on the relationship of materials and lighting that can affect the atmosphere of a space, and on the impact of the role of lighting and materials in creating the atmosphere in the Silaturahmi Tunnel. Using interpretive case study methods, it can be used to discuss and analyze the interactions between materials used and lighting in forming the atmosphere in the Silaturahmi Tunnel. The relationship between material and light in creating an indoor atmosphere involves the formation and influence of human sensory experiences. These experiences include perceptions through touch, hearing, sight. Therefore, in this context, architecture is not only perceived visually but also as something that can be felt and experienced holistically through human senses. By considering human senses, architecture can become more impactful, providing spatial experiences that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also deeply immersive.
