Abstract

Buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia L.) memiliki kemampuan sebagai imunomodulator karena adanya senyawa scopolamine dan kuersetin. Aktivitas imunomodulator dari buah mengkudu ini diaplikasikan pada sediaan farmasi dengan diformulasikan menjadi sediaan granul halus (sprinkle formulation) bagi bagi anak-anak dalam meningkatkan sistem imun. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengujian disolusi terhadap sediaan sprinkle formulatioin menggunakan alat tipe 2 (dayung) dan menggunakan medium dengan nilai pH 1,2 sesuai kondisi lambung saat berpuasa (preprandial) dan pH 4,5 terisi makanan (postprandial). Sampel yang diambil selama uji disolusi ditetapkan kadarnya menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis pada panjang gelombang maksimum. Hasil yang diperoleh profil disolusi senyawa kuersetin dalam sprinkle formulation ekstrak buah mengkudu (Morinda citrifolia. L) pada menit ke-60 dalam medium pH 1,2 adalah 57,5039%±1,3316 dan pH 4,5 adalah 86,2392%±0,6895. Kemudian hasil uji statistik Mann-Whitney Test kadar total Flavonoid (mgQE/gram) pada ekstrak, sprinkle formulation, jumlah terdisolusi obat pada menit ke-60 dalam medium pH 1,2 dan pH 4,5 memberikan hasil p value ≥ 0,05 yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan bermakna dari kadar total Flavonoid pada setiap sampel. / Noni fruit (Morinda citrifolia L.) has the ability as an immunomodulator due to the presence of scopolamine and quercetin compounds. The immunomodulatory activity of noni fruit is applied to pharmaceutical preparations by formulating it into a fine granule preparation(sprinkle formulation) for children in improving the immune system. In this study, dissolution testing of sprinkle formulations will be carried out using a type 2 device (paddle) and using a medium with a pH value of 1.2 according to stomach conditions when fasting (preprandial) and pH 4.5 filled with food(postprandial). Samples taken during the dissolution test were determined using UV-Vis spectrophotometry at the maximum wavelength. The results obtained the dissolution profile of quercetin compounds in the sprinkle formulation of noni fruit extract(Morinda citrifolia. L) at the 60th minute in pH 1.2 medium was 57,5039%±1,3316 and pH 4.5 was 86,2392%±0,6895. Then the results of the Mann-Whitney Test statistical test of total Flavonoid levels (mgQE/gram) in extracts, sprinkle formulations, the amount of drug dissolved at the 60th minute in pH 1.2 and pH 4.5 medium gave p value ≥ 0.05 which means there is no significant difference in total Flavonoid levels in each sample.
