Abstract

Restaurants are very easy to find around us various types and forms. Restaurant business is growing along with the development of the population and lifestyle of the community want fast paced presented. Consciously or not, with population growth. more and more so are the food needs that must be provided .Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan located in Jl. Hasanuddin No.1, Petisah Hulu, Kec. Medan Baru. The aim of this research is to investigate whether Menu Diversity and Price Perception have simultaneous influence toward Customer Purchase Interest at Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan . In this research, the writer used quantitative research design and IBM SPSS V.26. The writer used a descriptive and causal approach. The sampling technique used is snowball sampling. The population will be all customers and sample size was 97 customers at Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan. This research also passed the validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test and the equation is Y = 14.043 + 0.188 X1 + 0.678 X2. The result of hypothesis test, Menu Diversity has a partial influence towards Customer Purchase Interest at Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan, Price Perception has a partial influence towards Customer Purchase Interest at Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan and Menu Diversity and Price Perception have simultaneous influence toward Customer Purchase Interest at Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan. Recommendations for Pondok Indah Restaurant, Medan should be consistently use natural and fresh ingredients in order to create delicious dishes and has a characteristic for a variety of dishes on the menu and need to make changes to the menu with a variety of food and beverage prices that can help customers in the selection of the menu.
