Abstract
Forbes adalah sebuah majalah yang pertama kali berdiri di Amerika Serikat pada tahun 1917. Di Indonesia, majalah Forbes pertama kali diproduksi pada tahun 2010. Majalah yang secara eksklusif mengulas tentang ekonomi dan bisnis tersebut berdiri di bawah lisensi PT. Wahana Mediatama. Forbes Indonesia telah sukses memberikan standar kualitas baru kepada sektor media di Indonesia, dengan visi yang jelas yaitu untuk menjadi sumber wawasan yang paling terpercaya bagi publik khususnya para leader bisnis . Laporan magang ini membahas mengenai hasil kegiatan magang yang dilakukan pemagang selama 3 bulan di Forbes Indonesia. Pemagang ditempatkan di dalam divisi event & communication, di Forbes Indonesia, peran Public Relations dijalankan oleh divisi event & communication, divisi yang secara khusus mengatur hubungan kerjasama Forbes Indonesia dengan pihak eksternal. Tugas utama dari divisi event & communication yaitu mengatur media partner, partnership, sponsorship serta keseluruhan event yang diadakan oleh Forbes Indonesia. Fokus bahasan pemagang adalah melihat penerapan 12 stages of planning dalam special event Best of the Best Awards 2019. Berdasarkan proses pengamatan, pengalaman, dan percakapan yang dialami pemagang selama berada di Forbes Indonesia, maka dapat dikonfirmasi adalah benar bahwa divisi event and communication Forbes Indonesia menggunakan Special Event Best of the Best Awards 2019 untuk membina hubungan kerjasama dengan publiknya./ Forbes is one of the most famous business magazine from America. They started their journey from the United States in 1917 and expanded to Indonesia in 2010. Forbes Indonesia, which exclusively features legit articles on economics, business and finance was created under PT. Wahana Mediatama's license. It has successfully established a brand new standard to the media sector in Indonesia, with a clear vision which is to be the most reliable source of knowledge for public, especially business leaders. This internship report unravels the whole 3-month internship activities in Forbes Indonesia. The intern was placed at the Event & Communication Division at Forbes Indonesia (which the role of Public Relations is executed) that manages the cooperation of Forbes Indonesia and its external parties. The main role of the Event & Communication Division is to manage media partner, sponsorship and partnership along with all the events being held by Forbes Indonesia. The main focus from the intern is to disclose the implication of 12 stages of planning on Best of the Best Awards 2019 event. Based on the intern's thorough observation, experience and discussion, it's confirmed that Forbes Indonesia's Event & Communication Division used Best of the Best Awards 2019 Special Event in order to establish relationship with public.
