Abstract

Penggunaan media sosial menjadi sarana gaya hidup baru yang digunakan untuk melakukan suatu publikasi. Hingga tahun 2018, terdapat 3 miliar orang atau setara 40% populasi dunia menggunakan media sosial, dengan menghabiskan rata-rata 2 jam setiap hari untuk membagikan, menyukai, hingga memperbaharui perangka. Salah satu media sosial yang memiliki jumlah pengguna terbesar saat ini ialah instagram. Perdana dirilis pada Oktober 2010 di Apple App Store oleh perusahaan Burbn, Inc, aplikasi instagram berhasil memikat para penggunanya. Sementara itu, pada Januari 2018, Indonesia diketahui menempati urutan ketiga setelah Amerika Serikat dan Brazil, dengan jumlah pengguna aktif, lebih dari 50 juta pemilik akun instagram. Media sosial, dalam hal ini instagram, memiliki peran sebagai media yang digunakan untuk bersosialisasi. Didalamnya, terdapat interaktivitas yang memunculkan peluang untuk melakukan interaksi antar pengguna, dengan berbagi konten visual yang dinamis. Dengan munculnya tren tersebut, jalur berkomunikasi antar kepala daerah dengan publik dapat dilakukan melalui instagram. Melihat hal ini, Anies Baswedan sebagai Gubernur DKI Jakarta periode 2017-2022, memiliki strategi komunikasi pengelolaan pesan yang terjalin di dalam ruang virtual media sosial instagram. Hal tersebut terlihat dari pertumbuhan jumlah pengikut di dalam akun instagram @aniesbaswedan. Metode yang dilakukan di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan mengolah data primer berupa wawancara dengan sejumlah pihak yang turut andil di dalam pengelolaan pesan yang dilakukan Anies Baswedan pada akun instagramnya. / The use of social media has become a new lifestyle for public. On 2018, around 3 billion people, or the equivalent of 40% of the world’s population, used social media, with an average spending of 2 hours everyday for sharing, liking, and updating. One of the social media which has the largest number of users today is instagram. Initially released in October 2010 on the Apple App Store by Burbn, Inc. company, instagram has successfully captivated its users. Meanwhile, on January 2018 Indonesia has known got a third rank after United States and Brazil, with the number of active users more than 50 million instagram account. Social media, on this case the Instagram, got role as a medium for socializing. On instagram, there are interactions that give chance or opportunities to interact between users, by sharing dynamic visual content. Instagram had shown up a new trends, with the lines of communication between elite and public. And so on, Anies Baswedan as a Governor of DKI Jakarta 2017-2022 period, had a strategic communication by seeing the presence of lines communication in a virtual space. This can be seen from the growth of followers number on @aniesbaswedan instagram account. The method that uses on this study is qualitative, by processed the main data that is an interviewed result with participants that involved in managing messages of Anies Baswedan at his instagram account.
