Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. In this study, testing and analyzing the influence of leadership on the job satisfaction. In this study, the method used by the author is a quantitative analysis method. The type of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires distributed to employees. The population is 143 employees and sample in the study amounted to 106 employee. This study uses a simple random sampling method by taking a number of populations as samples to be tested using SPSS. The scale used to measure variables is the Likert scale. The results of the partial test can be explained Leadership influence Job satisfaction at PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. The Determination Coefficient Test results obtained R square value of 0.401, this means 40,1% of the dependent variable Job Satisfaction (Y) which can be explained by the independent variable Leadership (X) while the remaining 59,9% is explained by other variables which was not used in this study The conclusion in this study that there is a Leadership influence Job satisfaction at PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. With the improvement of their leadership. It will help to increase their employees’ job satisfaction./Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. Dalam penelitian ini, menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan. Populasi adalah 143 karyawan dan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 106 karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan mengambil sejumlah populasi sebagai sampel yang akan diuji menggunakan SPSS. Skala yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel adalah skala Likert. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan tentang pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. Hasil Uji Koefisien Determinasi diperoleh nilai R square sebesar 0,401, ini berarti 40,1% dari variabel dependen Kepuasan Kerja (Y) yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen Kepemimpinan (X) sedangkan sisanya 59,9% dijelaskan oleh lainnya variabel yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh Kepemimpinan terhadap kepuasan kerja di PT Buana Sawit Indah Medan. Dengan peningkatan kepemimpinan mereka. Ini akan membantu meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.
