Abstract

Entrepreneurship can be briefly defined as something that is creative and innovative (create and different) abilities which are used as tips, basics, resources, processes and struggles to create value added goods and services performed with the determination to face risk. Career development is a process of identifying the career potential of employees’ capability while developing and motivation employees to support the company towards future challenges. Employee performance means working result from an employee working process that might result in positive performance or negative performance. The objective of this research is to test and determine the influence of career development towards employees’ performance at PT Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. The theory used in this study relates to the theory of career development and employee performance. In this study, the method used by the writer is a quantitative analysis method, descriptive method and causal research method. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data was collected through interviews, questionnaires distributed to employees, and analysis of documentation. The results of the partial test can be explained that t count (14,092) > t table (1,979) and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, namely: Career Development has influence towards Employee Performance at PT Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. The recommendation of this study is to pay more attention at employees’ career level, provide more training, and improvements of employees’ career level must be based on employees’ performance achieved by employees / Kewirausahaan dapat secara singkat didefinisikan sebagai sesuatu yang kreatif dan inovatif (menciptakan dan berbeda) kemampuan yang digunakan sebagai kiat, dasar, sumber daya, proses dan perjuangan untuk menciptakan barang dan layanan bernilai tambah yang dilakukan dengan tekad untuk menghadapi risiko. Pengembangan karir adalah proses mengidentifikasi potensi karir dari kemampuan karyawan sambil mengembangkan dan memotivasi karyawan untuk mendukung perusahaan menuju tantangan di masa depan. Kinerja karyawan berarti hasil kerja dari proses kerja karyawan yang mungkin menghasilkan kinerja positif atau kinerja negatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berkaitan dengan teori pengembangan karir dan kinerja karyawan. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode analisis kuantitatif, metode deskriptif dan metode penelitian kausal. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil uji parsial dapat dijelaskan bahwa t hitung (14,092)> t tabel (1,979) dan nilai signifikan 0,000 <0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, yaitu: Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT. Capella Dinamik Nusantara Medan. Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah untuk lebih memperhatikan tingkat karir karyawan, memberikan lebih banyak pelatihan, dan peningkatan tingkat karir karyawan harus didasarkan pada kinerja karyawan yang dicapai oleh karyawan.
