Abstract

Dalam kehidupan bergereja, keberadaan Sekolah Minggu dianggap penting bagi umat dan pemimpin gereja karena Sekolah Minggu bukan hanya tempat bagi anak-anak untuk mendengarkan cerita-cerita Alkitab, tetapi juga sebagai komunitas yang ramah bagi anak-anak. Dengan segala talenta yang mereka miliki, mereka mengenal Tuhan Yesus sebagai Juruselamat sehingga mereka dapat mengalami pertumbuhan iman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengidentifikasi pergumulan para Guru Sekolah Minggu untuk memelihara konsistensi mereka dalam kegiatan persiapan mengajar, serta untuk menganalisis hambatan memelihara konsistensi mereka dalam kegiatan persiapan mengajar. Sebuah studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini, melibatkan 12 partisipan di GKI XYZ. Data didapatkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam, yang kemudian ditriangulasi. Data yang sudah ditriangulasi tersebut dianalisis dengan menggunakan coding (Strauss and Corbin, 1989). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa Shared Christian Praxis menolong para Guru Sekolah Minggu memelihara konsistensi mereka untuk menghadiri persiapan mengajar, menolong mereka untuk mengalami transformasi kehidupan untuk cara mengajar yang lebih baik, dan juga mengarahkan mereka saling berbagi kisah pengalaman mengajar mereka di masing-masing kelas dalam komunitas Guru Sekolah Minggu. / In church life, the existence of Sunday School is considered important for congregation and church leaders because Sunday School is not only a place for children to listen to Bible stories, but also as a child-friendly community. With all the talents they have, they know the Lord Jesus as their Savior so that they can experience growth in faith. This study aims to describe and identify the struggles of Sunday School teachers to maintain their consistency in teaching preparation activities, as well as to analyze the barriers to maintaining their consistency in teaching preparation activities. A case study was used in this study, involving 12 participants in GKI XYZ. Data were obtained using questionnaires and in-depth interviews, which were then triangulated. The triangulated data were analyzed using coding (Strauss and Corbin, 1989). The results show that Shared Christian Praxis helps Sunday School Teachers maintain their consistency in attending teaching preparation, helps them to experience a life transformation for better teaching methods, and also leads them to share stories of their teaching experiences in each class in the Teacher community.
