Abstract

Poor traffic management systems can lead to congestions lasting for hours on end, slowing down the whole transportation process. One of the causes of such poor traffic management is the difficulty of locating problematic areas on a road and its time. An effort has been done in the past to gather data through an Android application VDZ and CCTV footage data from PT Jasa Marga (an Indonesian toll road management company). These two data when used in conjunction is able to create a Speed Time Contour model of the traffic to identify potential problematic areas on a road. Therefore, this research proposes the development of a database to integrate data gathered from VDZ and CCTV footage with data integration to construct a functioning Speed Time Contour dataset. This research also proposes the development of a variation to the previously proposed database that also integrates data gather from VDZ and CCTV footage with a different approach on integration. The method to solve this problem is by developing a database that is able to import, transform, integrate and interpolate VDZ and CCTV data into a dataset and is also able to export the dataset into a CSV file. Implementation was done with the database management system MySQL in two stages for both systems: implementing database and implementing procedures. There are 10 database Tables and 5 procedures that are implemented for the first system, and 4 database Tables and 5 procedures for the second system. Once implementation is completed, each system is tested thoroughly with testing method unit testing following a series of test cases which dictates if the implementation is successful. There are 13 test cases for the first system numbering from TC – 01 to TC – 13, and 9 test cases for the second system numbering from TC – 14 to TC – 22. The result of the experiment shows that the systems for the two approaches was successfully created with MySQL. This includes the implementation of the two stages for the two systems; implementation of the database Tables and implementation of the procedures for both systems which are successful. This is proven by the result on the testing on both systems which shows that each are able to perform all of their functionalities as expected. / Manajemen lalu lintas yang lemah dapat mengakibatkan kemacetan selama berjam-jam, dan memperlambat proses transportasi secara keseluruhan. Salah satu penyebab manajemen lalu lintas yang lemah adalah kesulitan dalam mencari titik-titik yang bermasalah pada suatu jalan bersama waktu. Suatu usaha sudah pernah dilakukan terlebih dahulu untuk mengumpulkan data melalui suatu aplikasi Android bernama VDZ dan data rekaman CCTV dari PT Jasa Marga (suatu perusahaan manajemen jalan tol di Indonesia). Kedua data ini dapat digunakan bersama untuk membuat suatu model Speed Time Contour lalu lintas untuk mengidentifikasi titik-titik berpotensi bermasalah pada suatu ruas jalan tol. Maka, penelitian ini mengusulkan perancangan suatu database untuk mengintegrasi data yang terkumpul dari VDZ data dan data rekaman CCTV dengan data integration untuk membuat suatu dataset Speed Time Contour. Penelitian ini juga mengusulkan perancangan suatu variasi dari penelitian yang baru diusulkan untuk mengintegrasi data VDZ dan rekaman CCTV dengan pendekatan integrasi yang berbeda. Metode untuk dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan ini adalah dengan mengembangkan suatu database yang dapat mengimpor, mentransformasi, mengintegrasi, dan menginterpolasi data VDZ dan CCTV menjadi suatu dataset dan bisa mengekspor dataset tersebut menjadi suatu file CSV. Implementasi berhasil dilakukan dengan sistem manajemen database MySQL dalam dua tahapan untuk kedua sistem: implementasi database dan implementasi prosedur. Terdapat 10 tabel database dan 5 prosedur yang diimplementasikan untuk sistem pertama, dan 4 tabel database dan 5 prosedur yang diimplementasikan untuk sistem kedua. Setelah implementasi selesai, setiap sistem diuji sepenuhnya dengan metode pengujian unit testing mengikuti suatu rangkaian uji kasus yang menentukan status keberhasilan implementasi. Terdapat 13 uji kasus untuk sistem pertama bernomor dari TC – 01 sampai TC – 13, dan 9 uji kasus untuk sistem kedua bernomor dari TC – 14 sampai TC – 22. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem untuk kedua pendekatan berhasil dirancang dengan MySQL. Hal ini termasuk implementasi kedua tahap untuk kedua pendekatan yang juga berhasil diimplementasikan. Ini dibuktikan dari uji coba pada kedua sistem yang menunjukkan masing-masing sistem dapat memenuhi fungsionalitasnya sesuai ekspektasi.
