Abstract

Menstruasi merupakan siklus fisiologis yang terjadi setiap bulannya. Wanita usia produktif cenderung mengalami gangguan terkait salah satunya adalah nyeri haid. Dismenorea primer merupakan keluhan yang sangat sering untuk dijumpai dan merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas ginekologi pada wanita usia produktif. Angka kejadian dismenorea primer di Indonesia adalah 54,89%. Salah satu faktor yang dapat memicu dismenorea primer adalah menarke dini (<12 tahun). Onset kejadian dismenorea primer umumnya 6- 12 bulan setelah menarke dengan nyeri tajam yang khas, intermiten, di daerah suprapubik dan rasa nyerinya dimulai beberapa jam sebelum hingga menstruasi dimulai. Selain karena banyaknya paparan prostaglandin, usia menarke dini juga dikaitkan dengan penyempitan leher rahim dan organ reproduktif yang belum berkembang sempurna sehingga dapat mencetuskan nyeri menjelang menstruasi. Uji statistik penelitian ini menggunakan uji Chi Square dan data diolah menggunakan program SPSS 25.0. Total sampel yang berhasil dikumpulkan adalah 219 mahasiswi dengan angka kejadian dismenorea primer di FK UPH adalah 139 siswi (63,5%). Siswi dengan usia menarke dini (<12 tahun) dan mengalami dismenorea primer yaitu 57 siswi (76%) lebih besar dibandingkan siswi usia menarke normal (≥12 tahun) yaitu 82 siswi (56,9%). Hasil dari Odds Ratio menunjukkan angka 2,394 yang berarti usia menarke dini memiliki risiko 2,394 kali lebih besar untuk terjadinya dismenorea primer dibandingkan usia menarke normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara usia menarke dan dismenorea primer terhadap mahasiswi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Pelita Harapan. (p=0,009) / Menstruation is a physiological cycle that occurs every month. Women of childbearing age likely to experience menstrual problems one of which is menstrual cramps. Primary dysmenorrhea is a very common complaint and is one of the main causes of gynecological morbidity of women in their reproductive age. The incidence of primary dysmenorrhoea in Indonesia is 54.89%. One of the factors that can cause primary dysmenorrhea is early menarche (<12 years). The onset of primary dysmenorrhoea is generally 6- 12 months after menarche with characteristic sharp pain, intermittent, in the suprapubic area and the pain begins several hours before starting menstruation. Apart from the large amount of exposure to prostaglandins, the age of early menarche is also associated with narrowing of the cervix and underdeveloped reproductive organs so that it can trigger pain before menstruation. This quantitative research is using cross sectional study. The statistical test of this research is using Chi Square method and the data will be processed using the SPSS 25.0 program. Total sample collected was 219 female students with the primary dysmenorrhea in UPH Faculty of Medicine is 139 female students (63.5%). Students with early menarche age (<12 years) and experiencing primary dysmenorrhea are 57 students (76%) greater than normal menarche age girls (≥12 years) at 82 students (56.9%). Odds Ratio shows 2,394 students with early menarche age is at higher chance 2,394 times greater for primary dysmenorrhea than normal menarche age which is contrary to the theory that explain reproductive organs that have not yet developed to its maximum and the cervix is still narrowing so it can cause pain during menstruation. The results of the study showed a significant relationship between age of menarche and primary dysmenorrhea towards students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pelita Harapan. (p = 0.009)
